According to me, there are 4 colts in contention and they are :

!. Siskin(Trainer-- Ger Lyons). Unbeaten from 4 starts; has won each time in splendid style. However, all its wins have come over 6 furlons and its a step upto a mile. According to some experts, Siskin may have a stamina issue. I think the step up to a mile at 3 is quite large and the forecast odds at 2/1 is too low. Nonetheless considering its potential he cannot be written off.

2. Armory(Trainer Adrian O'brien),  likely ridden by jockey Ryan Moore has a line by pedigree to the Epsom Derby winner Antony Van Dyke, also trained by the same trainer.Thus, Armory will have no  stamina limitations.Came out of maidens in style but has been third to Pinatubo who lost at Newmarket recently.

3. Siswan(Trainer Michael Halford) won on soft going while coming out of maidens. Came from behind and won full of running. I think a strong contender depending on track condition.

4. Vatican City. Won on dirt. Moving to turf will be a challenge.

My Choice : Armory each way. Siswan in place. Siskin will give measly odds in place; thus not mentioned.
