Top Three Shared Equal Number Of Wins At Hong Kong

By S C Sharma | 27-Jun-2020

Top three jockeys and trainers  today  shared equal number of wins between them  at Sha Tin, Hong Kong racing . Leading at top of the table champion Z Purton won only a single race today and his rival J Moreira won two races and K Teetan added just one more win to his tally at number three but battle for champion trainer closed the margin-gap  very fast and first  two trainers now stands at top of the table  with only one win difference and third placed trainer trailing by four wins with number one and by three wins to number two trainers at the table. Trainer K W Lui won two races today 2-9 Winston's Lad ( C Y Ho in saddle ) and 10-12 Water Divine ( H N Wong ) thus keeping up his own momentum and tempo and marching fast  and now title looks achievable for him. His last race winner was a longer odds horse available at 44/1 for win and 10/1 for place. PF Yiu's lone winner   9-12 Alcari ( M F Poon in saddle ) was available at 27/1 for win and 7/1 for place.
With only five meetings leftover to decide the championship title a tight finish is expected between top two trainers. Whereas among jockeys Z Purton is not in a mood to celebrate victory  right now for jockey's championship title for fourth occasion , though he is sitting pretty with six wins lead over his arch rival J Moreira. He still  preferred to wait till official prize is handed over to him  on 15th of  July for victory celebration . The final standings of top three jockeys and trainers after concluding of today's races at Sha Tin, HK  is as follows:

Jockeys table:   Z Purton 137 wins, J Moreira 131 wins and K Teetan 85 wins.

Trainers table :   P F Yiu 62 wins, K W Lui 61 wins and A S Cruz 58 wins.

Next race day at HK is  on Wednesday 1st, July at Sha Tin.

@ Venkat.   I am really very happy with your enthusiasm and respect your posts on HT . I congratulate you for your success too. But success vary from time to time and even if we are not successful the efforts , sincerity and transparency counts more and must continue.  Everyone knows success ratio for international racing -predictions are not encouraging and high and  in fact very low even for international media and experts too, but we must give our best to HT readers and leave the choice upon them to follow and judge us. You don't bother about success, compliments or criticism but continue your sincere work in best possible way for at least your own satisfaction. Rewards of success will follow you automatically when you delivers good.
We all know the uncertainties and complexities of racing but  our enthusiasm put us forward and keep involved actively  and when we get good results it reflects our depth of analysing things.  we are fully aware of our limitations, responsibilities and risk factors too of this horse racing line that's why we are free from after the race blame game and silly excuses, because we are within our limits and having good past record and experiences.  pl continue  your parade of victory and enjoy each and every moment of life. Also do share your experiences and latest info on racing with all of us.

@ Sharmaji,

Very few participants are interested in racing world wide. Can they be genuine horse lovers?

Zac Purton, for all purposes,  has won the championship. It is extremely doubtful that Jockey Moriera can make any dent now especially when he is stood down for a day (July 8). I really like the way Zac rides- he according to me, is world class!

You will also may note my effort. I scored a hatrick (selections).
