Bookmakers can never mend their ways and will continue to evade taxes what ever be the supervision . We have seen all race clubs turning a blind eye to their nefarious acts . We can safeguard  the future of racing only by ushering  a clean  environment  which  is possible only  if bookmakers are banned . As  for  centralised  totaliser ,  all  race clubs  have  to  first work together  and   prepare  a  common  draft  format  for this  purpose . Your reference to threats by  betting mafia is not surprising as such elements are part of  illrgal betting  operations  in  the  betting ring . But  most  of us want  only lawful  betting  in all  the race clubs  and it is time that it is enforced for good of this sport .

Bookies should be allowed to run their business but strict watch should be there and erring bookie/s should be handed over to the police without any mercy.

There are too many punters who prefer to do business with bookies and slam tote bettors with contempt.  Let the bookies insist on applicable GST & club commission on every bet.  The punters' love &/or devotion to the bookies will melt like ice.  Some shameless punter even suggested that the betting mafia will bodily harm those who advocate betting as per rules.  I just desire to inform that worthy that I am speaking like this for nearly 9 years.

Common tote is not at all possible.  Kolkata has no quinella pool.  Chennai, Hyderabad & Kolkata does not have 30% trinella consolation dividend.  There is exacta  pool only at BNG (& in select races at Mysore).  HYD & KOL pay dividend to a horse that is placed 3rd in 7 horse field.  First, all the rae clubs should adapt common dividend policy.

We hope racing resumes in a new format and in a clean environment which is possible only if tax evading bookmakers are banned from all race clubs and a centralised totaliser common to all  centres is introduced .

it is useless to waste time to  speculate  when racing  will resume. What  a  punter  'gets'  hen it resumes  is  more important - normal betting, online betting, betting through  tote  or  bookies etc. has  more important issues  than the  date when  it  resumes.

If  normal cy  is  not  restored than ordinary  punter - the  backbone of  racing, will not  be  able  to  take  part and the  experiment  will fail..

Good effort by RWITC  Hope raceing my resume in couple of weeks yet to get green  signal 

There are practical difficulties for on line  raceing  RWITC live streaming should be free for everyone they  should not charge 

As it is RWITC can not think  on line raceing may b successful  it takes years to come in reality 

If they  allow  bookmakers to operate online it will be good they should be  isolated give them  chance to operate 

Raceing will hv with  good competition iboth club and bookies operate online 

Its my  suggestion for improving club situation 

Yes,  pune is going to start race on 23rd of August but no Beting,  online Beting will be there but not yet confirmed by Maharashtra gov.

Let's wait and watch what will happen on 23rd August'20

Sweet news. Life is dull without racing. Even if we don't attend it is a thrill to see the card and see the results. Craving for races to start.

Let me clarify, the Govt is yet to give permission for the online betting and Paytm will be official partner of RWITC in the betting operation. SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) and Guidelines are yet to be announced on Online betting.

Apart from Govt Permission RWITC is on full scale flow with its preparation  and the connections are confident on the execution of upcoming season as per plan. 

Fingers crossed. Let's hope for the best and appreciate the efforts of concerned people.

     Really good news and a step forward towards resumption of activity.  I am also optimistic alongwith many others and hope for the best.
