Since Central government has allowed sports activities from September 21, the wait of the rail birds is probably over at last.
However, there is caveat that there should be no more than 100 persons. So the races will be without punters. Hopefully, the various turf clubs will be ready with an online betting app by then.
Best wishes to all concerned and a word of caution to punters.

To be cautious is need of hour when racecourses are open for punters in view of covid-19.
To open good no of counters at entry point as well as counters issuing betting tickets.Employing sufficient security to ensure that covid-19 precautions are followed by punters.
The morning counters at race courses are to be opened till the races are over on that particular day.so that a certain parcent of punters are retained ,out side of race course.Ofcourse security shall present to follow covid restrictions by punters
TO minimise the public,,enhancement in entry fees can also be considered

Just information i think more than half of racing season not affected by covid19. Racing Jockey Club overcomes adversity to record HK$121.6 billion in turnover Despite having to deal with the social unrest and the Covid-19 pandemic during the arduous 2019-20 campaign, punters bet the third highest amount ever on a Hong Kong racing season

I recommend all race club should issue race cards (like club cards) preloaded that wld generate surplus capital with club ..And have vendor atm machines in club to load and payout.

Suresh ji , you said maximum bets will not exceed 1 Lakh . You are right. What I feel, bets included of all the pools ie Win, place,SHP, quenelle , forecast etc won’t reach your said amount. The load on punters will be 33%+...+...+ . We will be knowing after on line betting is permitted.
people shout saying poor punters are robbed ~poor punters are robbed ? At the same time wise punters are winners .
Now at present situation, if online betting is allowed the poor punters will be robbed by Racecourse authorities and the Government.

No entry fee income.
No bookie license fee income.
No income from catering. Juice. Fruits. Stalls.
No income arising from mobile fees.
So why would any club welcome this.
On app , GST will be 28 % to govt. Club can at best take extra 5%. Maximum bets will not exceed 1 lac , no fool will bet online at 33% load. All transactions leaving digital trace.
