     Last Sunday opening day of new racing season at Sha Tin, Hong Kong punters have piled into deliver record turnover with an increase of 6.83 percent. Jockey club chief Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges said -- we had the best start we could hope.
     Today night racing at happy valley, Hong Kong and the first race is scheduled at 4.45 pm IST. The going is good and weather reported as mostly cloudy. Last season's top three jockeys riding in all eight races and the popular Frenchman Alexis Badel is having mounts in seven races. As usual the card is competitive with a dozen runners participating in all eight races. My narrow down choices are as follows: 

1) no 10 Show Mission, no 5 Gouten of Garo.

2) no 9 Lady First, no 3 Universal Go Go.

3) no 2 G Unit, no 7 Wild West Wing.

4) no 3 Simply Fluke, no 2 Harmony N Home.

5) no 4 Jazz Steed, no 6 Here Comes Ted.

6) no 1 Alpha Edge, no 10 Lightning Steed.

7) no 1 California Rad, no 5 Aurora Pegasus.

8) no 5 Guy Dragon, no 1 Fantasy.

    In entire race card 5-4 Jazz Steed and 7-1 California Rad having good credentials and in all fairness likely to oblige. Wishing you enjoyable racing and God bless you all.
