Lagarde is definitely a good bet.   There were several tipsters in horsetalk who have preferred it instead of FF & Antibes.  Of course all the three had their share of loyal supporters.  My congratulations for your bet.  (& others also who backed Lagarde).

However, the impressive runner in yesterday's derby is relatively less fancied S-Legend (Sandesh up).  Nosed out FF from runner up slot & knocked out Antibes.from place payout.

Maxy Mouse you were the only one who tipped Rosy Rapunzel and Krish you were the only one who tipped Alpha... Spot On... Excellent picks... Keep them Coming you Guys... Regards Win Legend... 

Sovereign Legend finished a nose ahead of Forest Flame and 1 1/4 length behind Derby winner. At one stage,  A Sandeh on SL was looking like a winner.  All in the game. 

Trevor on Forest Flame went miles wide which is not the style of running in classics by ace jokey. Those who backed FF which became favourite, my sympathies are with them. 

My congratulations to KND, Prabhakar Reddy and the rider Akshaykumar.

Consultant sorry I am tipping like this from past 15 years because I am an office goer see my tips by seeing the results it requires hard study in Future time permits I will tip by naming the horse 

This is not to justify or take away anything from the deserving winner of the day that is LAGARDE.BUT..... ANTIRESS was given a very poor ride.ANTIRESS both the times when it ran second in the GUINEAS and when it won the OAKS was switched off in last/second last position and then when alerted in home accelerated very well. Today firstly it was in lead for the first 200 mts and only after passing the winning post ffirst time it went back to third spot and always tried to be up with the pace. That was its un doing. See how cool and excellent race SANDESH rode on paddys horse which nearly won the race.

ANTIRESS lives to fight another day ... no need to right it off.

My analysis for the derby...forest flame has beaten golden oaks and antibes. Golden oaks is close to Lagarde. 2-3 HANDSOME - By Lord Admiral. Tracking well. Last run was in Bangalore 2000 guineas placed 6th. Will be a different customer in this class, to run 200m less will be an advantage and will suit. Sherwin is coming back after almost a year, might need a run.

4-5 CAVALLINI - By Tazahum. Ignore the last run in Bangalore 2000 guineas. Missing the kick and lost about 3L at start. I am sure will be a different customer in this class.Akshay on board  is a + Watchmystar is a winner in a lower category and suraj is retained to ride and both horses trained by I Ghatala. I feel Cavallini class is superior.

5-10 ROYAL RESOLUTION - Ignore the last run over 1400m. Ran a forward race coming from draw 13 leading until the 150m. Consistent in last three runs last season winning in class 3 and performing well class 2 over 1200m.

6-6 ANTIBES - By Multidimensional. Proved her mettle winning the Oaks over 2400m after loosing to Forest Flame over a mile in 1000 guineas. Many of them are by sire Excellent Art/Leitor Mor/Kingda Ka. I have a doubt that they might stay the distance, might be exceptions as well. I will go with the proven horse over 2400m. Soverign Legend is by Winlegend and trained by Paddy and Sandesh on board, I think is a good place bet.  

7-5 KINGHT TEMPLER - By Multidimensional. Ignore the last run over 2800m. Prior to that was a winner over a mile beating  Roma Victor. Excellent chance to bounce back with TP is back to ride.

DOUBLE: CAVALLINI - KNIGHT TEMPLER

DAYS BEST: ANTIBES 

ANTIBES is doomed with 666. Race 6 ,Horse 6 and Draw 6.

Neither Iam a fake astrologer nor superstitious. But never in the history racing 666 has won a derby anywhere on earth.

So forget ANTIBES  no matter how much hype someone has created here..He is known for such hype since years. And neither it has MERIT.

The best horse which has a derby chance is Lagarde.Its a colt and has better timing than FF.
