Mr.cee kay ,lately Trevor patel is not justifying his mounts particularly after his fall on Zoya in Kolkata derby. Better be careful with him. And his Chennai mounts were horrible.

Cracked jp today in Hyderabad, but dividends was just 7k+. Just played horses on merits , tracks and timings as well as form. Please don't ask me why I didn't post, I read the card in detail when I was in tote.  Even if I posted you won't get the msg in correct time.

RACEBRO::; Time and again AMALFI has disappointed and proved that it's mediocre

TODAY 5th race is a handicappers delight.Three horses on their past runs and weight carried stand out here

1) DEPTH CHARGE. 2) ALEXANDER DUMAS and 3) KVASIR.

These three hv raced in 60 above for quite sometime and all three ate today carrying almost 5 kgs less from previous efforts.Especially KVASIR last season ran 1/2 length second to none other than CERISE NOIR.And what to say about the very honest speedster DEPTH CHARGE.

Today no front runner mind you,even with this boy DEPTH CHARGE will dart away and make them all run.With a bit of luck it can cling on

My money would be on a three way on both KVASIR and DEPTH CHARGE.If it clicks returns will be very good

GOLDEN OAKS does not hv the speed to hit front tdy because of MULTIFACETED and ST PETERSBURG.

It is a true class III type and coming even second today is doubtful.

1-1 ACTIVATED - Ran well last race over 1400m and finished a close 5th with R Marshall on board. Now with TP coming to ride will be a huge advantage, should win.Fortuner ran ahead of Marvellous Maggi in last race. These two should fight for minors.

2-7 AMALFI SUNRISE - I had very high hopes from this horse from first run. It is by Dawn Approach. Last run was 4L behind Golden Memory when ridden by an apprentice without whip. Now with YS on board should run a different race. I prefer AS over GM. Smithsonian doesnt stand a chance here.

3-1 ASCOVAL - By Excellent Art. Trained by Paddy and ridden by TP, tracking well. Should perform well in its first run itself. Next best in the race will be Electric Blue with YS on board. Eat Southern Dynastsy if on money favorite.

6-5 GOLDEN OAKS - Is a young horse by leitir Mor. Last two run were over a mile in Bangalore 2000 guineas and Indian 2000 guineas when finished 3rd and 2nd to Lagarde. Now running over 1200m in a G3 sprint race. I am sure Paddy knows what he is doing? Should perform well to beat the seniors

7-8 NIGHT SECRET - By Night of Thunder. Ran in two classics in Chennai and Hyderabad and performed well. I am confident in this set and grade is an easy task, moreover knows the mile distance well. I understand why YS is not taking the ride? His weight is 56Kgs. This is my DAYS BEST!

8-12 IN A BREEZE - Was a very good 2nd over the same distance. Now TP coming in place of SN which means business. Has a very decent opportunity to win this one.

Another day of 8 races which look simple but may not turn out to be so.

I always look for good odds. Even if a single bet lands at good odds, the day is alright.

My choices for the day:

Race 1 : I will go with a PLACE bet on 2- MARVELLOUS MAGGI. Was 6 lengths behind the winner and did not have a clear run in the early stage of the race. Only dampener is 4 Kg allowance claiming apprentice jockey. Still, it is worth a PLACE bet.

Race 2 : 7 -- AMALFI SUNRISE ridden by Srinath looks good. Was 4th last time. With jockey change, should do better.

Race 3 : NO SELECTION

Race 4 : Once again a race with many likely contenders. I will go for 11- ICONIC PRINCESS. Was second over same distance in lower class. Carries no weight today and has a decent chance to cause an upset.

Race 5 : The most difficult race of the day. No horse makes it case except ALPHA who is a last start winner. Whether he can at least PLACE again. I will be going for 11- THE RESPONSE. Nothing is there to recommend this horse. It is just a hunch that he will do well today.

Race 6 : Not looking beyond 2-- MULTIFACETED. Since odds will be cramped, it may not be worth a bet.

Race 7 : 4-- KATANA has run in better company. Has a very good chance in this set.

Race 8 : The race looks to be a cakewalk for 12- IN A BREEZE. But life in racing is never so simple. For me, it is a race with NO BET. In case, I am right with Race No, 1 , then I will go for a PLACE bet on 3- SHIVALIC GOLD.
