This is in reply to your question regarding no-3 Memoriter, which eventually became favorite and won the race.

Did I fancied Memoriter?  A resounding NO.  My fancy in that race was no-1 Ceaser's palace and No-10 Mrs Thacher.

I did not buy Jackpot ticket on that day.  But, had purchased 2nd treble ticket, the choices being (1) Salazar, (2) Musterion, Win all & for 3rd leg of treble I had nominated the two horses mentioned above.  

I saw your question only today.,  Hence delayed response.

Regarding your post today,

Today Akshay finished shp on 3 mounts and thp in derby.  He was competing against BNG champion Suraj &  determined Trevor.  I think he has done reasonably well with his rides.  He is HYD based jockey and I was expecting at least one win from him in the derby day of his home center..  

Ruchi is again hasty about Premier Action and Towering Presence.

Congrats Joker for 4 solid wins and two seconds , Rakesh Menon for 6 solid wins, Race Bro, Vivek , Deepak and Abhay Pune Anushre , Zedazz and others for selecting 5 or 4 solid wins.

More congrats to Govindarajan and Godzilla for confident selections.

Premier Action came second. Both win and place I played and made some decent money. I also played Lombardy since Lombarda the dam of Lombardy, Sire happens to be Razeen. It covered 25 lengths to win and in the process waived off the late challenge of Roarring Tiger.

Anyway, your prediction that PA will not touch the board remained a distant dream. Please dont throw challenges at seniors.

2-5 CERTITUDE - By Multidimensional.  Lost as a favorite with SN on board. Should win this time with PS in the saddle. Good Connection last two runs can be ignored in 1000 guineas. The filly weight is just 410, which is ok for a shorter trip. I feel definite place chance.

3-1 VIJAYAS SIMHA - Won well under SN ride last time over 1200m 1:12:14 by 4L. Extra 200m and extra weight should not stop it to win.

4-6 DOWNTOWN GAL - By Multidimensional. Won very impressively over 1600 with SN on board 1:37:8 after running a 3rd in guineas. More to come from this filly. SN immediate double.

5-7 STUNNING FORCE - Ignore the last run, drifted and ended on the sand track with Md Ismail. Coming back after a mock race and under the guidance of Akshay has a decent chance. Can be a good eachway bet.

6-8 SCRAMJET - Ran a very good race nk 2nd to different over 1100m with Koushik on board. Now under the PS guidance and extra distance should suit. Just incredible is a good place bet.

7-6 LIGHTENING BOLT - Three straight wins recently, in rousing form. A winner over the distance. Galloping G eventhough won well over 1400m recently with SN is the danger, but I think LB should prevail.

8-6 ROARING TIGER - By Kitten's Joy. I like the breed.  Lombard went the distance and failed and Ashwa Bravo have never travelled beyond a mile. Bold Legend by Winlegend should run well as well. I think P Shroff one and two in the Derby.

9-3 LAGOS - By Gusto. Is 2 out of 2. Both wins over 1400m. Now running over a shorter distance. SN is taking the ride in place of Akshay. Different ridden by Akshay won over the same distance of 1100m 1:6:8 Very little to choose between the two. Check condition of both horses and weights  in the ring and decide.

Race 6) Horse No.4 - King Roger - Win 

I did a simple excercise and was quite an eye opener. For the current last 2 race days results published on indiarace across all centres in the country i picked 2 jockeys - Suraj Naredu and PTrevor and looked at only their horses that ran as tote favorite. PTrvor had a total of 23 fav runners and he won only 10 of them. Suraj Naredu had 19 fav runners and he won on only 7!! Speaks a lot abt what to do when these 2 ride favs. Id rather lay all their favs without any study and hopefully will still be plus at the end of the season!
