Amused . It is as though Akshay Kumar or Trevor running the race. Some horses have stamina , sustained acceleration. Some have stamina and quick acceleration. The relative acceleration varies from horse to horse. The trainer knows it and instructs his jockey accordingly if he chose to try to win a race. 

From the way a horse is run ( rail run , outside run , leading from the word go, rear run , stalking the front runners, late rush belatedly , etc) can give an idea whether the horse was on the job or not. Unfortunately we can not forsee the strategy in advance. We can only guess. 

It is the horse and it's quirkiness that prompts the trainer to devise the strategy. 

Jockey's skills are secondary , unless horses have matching speed and stamina.

Let us concentrate on horses.

Let us first agree that the results at HYD races was a fair reflection of all participating horse's merit and jockey's competence.

Too many times, the punters dismiss a horse for its one bad run.

Let us first talk about Lagarde.  It flopped miserably to a rank outsider on 14th Nov 2020.  (the winner was paid 631/- at BNG tote).  But, he made ample amends and reeled off 3 successive wins including BNG derby.

Similarly Lombardy lost to less fancied Immortality in the Golkonda oaks and too many observers passed judgement that it is not fit for 2400m.  

However, on the derby day, the public loyalty was sharply divided between Ashwa Bravo & Lombardy.  Ashwa Bravo finished 4th & Lombardy won comfortably.  I do not think there was any kind of questionable understanding between Trevor, Akshay &/or Suraj.  Of course, I do not say that all jockeys/trainers are goody goody babies all the time.  

Akshay famed recently with his skills....but from long back Trevor comes from the rear.....he loves challenge.......even aslam khader mentioned that.....

Akshay Kumar used to keep his mount at Hyderabad in the rear at bend and accelerates from 300 mtr marker and win by short margins. Trevor did an Akshay act. Thats all.

I dont know why you give timings as clue ? Is there anything to be noticed ?

Trevor did the same on Lightning Bolt also beating the front running Premier Action.

Trevor finished 3rd in bng and akshay finished 3rd in hyd..  Both by nose
