    You are absolutely correct. RWITC has conducted the races in a decent manner to the satisfaction of the entire racing fraternity. Unlike other racing centres viz. BTC , MRC , HRC or KCTC where we can see hanky panky attitude by the insiders , RWITC has standup to its reputation in a gallant manner.

Totally I disagree with Mr.win legend, the derby day was good and competitive, odds were good and races were run on pure merit , no hanky Panky business. Even punters who played in tote should have earned good with forecast and other options 

I think you like class 5 races where you never can rely on any horse. Class 5 races with unpredictable runners will drain the pockets of the punters 

Derby race, immortality was destined to win, but people came up with atrocious selections which baffled me. It was a purely a merit race ran truly by each and every horse abilities.  Immortality has beaten forest flame already once by a whisker , which was the only threat. But this time suraj kept the horse at the correct position and surged smoothly past forest flames.  Immortality had the bloodline for the distance

A sad and Boring derby..,.

6 out of 8 of my predictions came good, but interestingly the one on which I made most profit was on the 'lay bet' of the day... Wondering if I need to switch from betting on win to just picking up horses for lay bets... I hv been giving considerable thought on this ... More experienced regular contributors can throw more light to it. 

It is the prerogative of the owners to pick the jockey but the best ride in the Derby was actually of PS Chouhan who got the dream run on the rails and took the lead on Alluring Silver. Alluring Silver hence finished much closer to the top 2 than in the Oaks which was entirely due to the jockey. Let us compliment the winning connections but also compliment P S CHouhan for giving his heart out and showing great skill on Alluring Silver .

Overall it was s dull and lack lustre derby day... Pathetic....

       I am sure you have sense of humour because my posting is meant in fun and no offence meant. Your selection went wrong because you ignored your own point. Remember Sir Cecil ? You used to call him "fatty" and always tipped against him. Ashwa Bravo is a "fatty". He weighed more than any other horse in race. So he lost !

Srinath, zervan, Trevor, cscjodha, these Good couple of jockeys miserably failed even though few of them had good chances to be on board, they did not show their caliber, its Derby day they need to use different tactics and come up it is not like the common days racing using the same tactics on Derby day

Dear Mr.Tom, it was the owner's decision to replace psc,coz she was unhappy with the way the horse was kept way too far entering straight during oaks. So they decided to go for suraj. But I feel very sad for psc who deserved to win derby after having spectacular season so far. May be Shroff first choice was always psc on immortality.  Even if psc rode immortality today, it would have won anyways.

Bro as u seen in OAKS how horse won and CHAUHAN is a bookie rider always loose in derby for example MYRTLEWOOD how he rode as u know wt the result came same multidimensional breed this time they don't want to take risk as it happened few years back !!!! U have other example like SIR CECIL Neeraj rode in 1600 mtrs withSTAR SUPERIOR how he won by marginal so in derby owners went with Trevor every owner trainer I'll look too jockey when thier horse in good form CHAUHAN is a also a good jockey but his performance in derby is not good as SURAJ recent form

MY VIEWS FOR DERBY WITH THEIR DYNAMIC RATINGS. tHE RATINGS, GENERALLY I GO FOR top FOUR BUT HERE THE RATINGS ARE TOO CLOSE.
6= ALLURING SILVER (600)-LAGARDE (596)-ROARING TIGER (595)-ASHWA BRAVO (595)-IMMORTALITY (595)- FOREST FLAME (595)
Analysis= this times DERBY is really very open. The ratings are so close that its very clear that there is no outstanding horse and its going to be a close affair and possibly a upset. Now, although ALLURING SILVER is top rated by 4 points, yet in OAKS it was beaten easily by both FF and IMMPRTALITY.So,I FEEL IT MAY NOT BE ABLE TO FINISH AHEAD OF THESE TWO. ignoring it  we come to LAGARDE. LAGARDE won two of its races PILLAR TO POST but if we see its previous two wins , it came from BEHIND, that means LAGADE simply cannot be ruled out.iIt is just not a one paced front runner but can even come off the pace. In RUIA there was no hot pace, here SUCESSOR/SPORTING MEMORIES will cut the WIND.  A clever tactics can see LAGARDE at the busy end.
Now, everyone 80 percent feel its between FF and IMMOTRTALITY. both great fillies, have done nothing wrong so far.But what is the challenge or charm with going with the masses. Both have good rating and can do it.

But as per my style i would like to THINK OUT OF BOX. That is why i consider ASHWA BRAVO and ROARING TIGER also with equally good rating for deeper analysis as i feel one of them can upset. See the RUIA cup replay, ASHWA BRAVO was fighting for its head and Trevor had a tough time to settle it.
Between 1800 to 1600 PT was struggling and literally strangled the horse so much that it veered out side ways and literally stopped.
At this juncture ASHWA BRAVO literally stopped and was detached (5) lengths behind the field. that is where it raced . On turning for home ASHWA BRAVO was not sighted in the vido frame. It entered the Home stretch, 5 lengths behind the last horse, then was pulled out 10 wide and finally covered horse after horse to finish (5th) just 2.75 lengths behind LAGARDE. If we see its style of running in HYD derby, at bend it tore away, that means like LAGARDE ASHWA BRAVO is a versatlie horse which can be up with the pace or come off the pace.

Without all that circus and if ASHWABRAVO was settled somewhere in the mid pack it WOULD HAVE WON THE RUIA CUP by 4 LENGTHS.
Next ROARING TIGER, this horse gets going only after 2000 mts. RUIA cup was just a rhersal. see how it was literally flying. TWO stride of LAGARDE and NISSUS was one giant stride of ROARING TIGER.Today in my view. ASHWA BRAVO and ROARING TIGER will definitely be there  .
My final choice ASHWA BRAVO /ROARING TIGER. Both will have PLACE odds better than 2/1 that is sure.My bets will be a three way on both.
I AM SURE AT END OF DAY IF RESULTS ARE OTHERWISE THERE WILL BE 100 MOCKING REPLIES .... NO MATTER THIS IS RACING YOU WIN SOME LOSE SOME.

Hi All,

1-5 HIGH PRIESTESS - By Multidimensional/Xisca. Was shd 2nd recently over a mile race in bangalore 1:37:90. Tracking well and Paddy knows the horse well and I am sure will relish the extra distance of 800m and going at bottom weights is an advantage. Arcadia is the next best, but carrying top weight and win would be a difficult task.

2-5 WIZARD OF STOCKS - Initially great expectation from this horse, taken as a classic horse, but unfortunately If you look at the statistics just 1 win and 7 times 2nd out of 13 starts. No Juliette and Parisian in this race, decent chance to see the winning post. My Opinion and Phychic Force will fight for SHP due to top weights.

3-4 COSMIC RAY - By Burden of Proof. Last run win over a mile race in bangalore clocking 1:36:74 by 5L beating Northern Alliance, Prevelant Force, Sheismyscript and Well Connected. Cosmic Ray was beaten comprehensively by Trafalgar on invitation day last year, but I feel Cosmic Ray has a weight advantage and form on his side.

4-7 SUPREME RUNNER - By Excellent Art. Was 7L 6th in a million race over 1400m 1:24:39 behind Miracle who is unbeaten. I am sure extra 200m will suit and booking of Akshay is a ++ Suraj ride on Stock Bridge might be due to a contract with united racing.

5-11 HUNTING GODDESS - By Territories. I like the breed, tracking well. I dont know why PS is not taking a ride. This is a most open race. Hunting Goddess might win a good odds, an eachway bet is recommended.

6-6 ROARING TIGER - By Kitten's Joy. I had mentioned about the sire Kitten's Joy. Roaring Tiger is meant for the distance of 2400 as per the sire. As mentioned before was unlucky could not make it last to first in  Hyd Derby. In G3 was a very close 4th to Lagarde over 2000m in which was closinng on every stride. Now with bit of luck and Srinath sensible riding should win the Indian Derby.

7-4 GIANT STAR - Ingore last couple of runs over 2000m/2400m. The ideal distance is 1400/1600m. Tigrio is the danger with YS on board, leave it, gone up in weights and should place.  GS track is very good and SN should win on this.

8-2 ENDEAVOUR - By Strong Suit. Won well recently over 1000m 58:21 YS coming in place of Ragveer is huge + Endeavour beat Spring Grove and Spring Grove beat Enigma in Pune. Therefore Endeavour should beat Enigma. Who beat who?? Is there a confusion or its clear. Dont get into the analysis just back Endeavour.

Hai everyone, in my view and experience I feel that , in racing apart from race card study, handicapping , luck etc there is another factor which sometimes decide the outcome i.e thinking logically. Tomorrow the King fisher ultra Derby day no horse belonging to the sponsers is running in the Derby, so I feel that the sponsers will win any other race.
