First of all congrats to the connections of Immortality for annexing the blue riband of the Indian turf.

Kudos to trainer for keeping Immortality in ship-shape condition.
Also to Suraj Narredu for riding a well-judged race.
Also to the owners of Immortality for being blessed to have such a wonderful filly.
And yes, to breeder Ameeta Mehra, for keeping Usha stud farm right on top of the game.

All the above could not have been achieved but for the stallion Multidimensional. Taking over the mantle from the all time great stallion Razeen was no easy task but he seems to have sized up his ( Razeen's ) shoes well.

One cannot leave out the mare Psychic Light for all her 3 preceding stallions in her family tree have produced an Indian derby winner or more.

Pesi also creates history with Immortality for he has ridden her grand-dam Psychic Flame to victory in the Indian derby as a rider.

Her great grand-dam Eminence was ridden to victory by Pesi in the Indian 1000gn. Just for information, Eminence ran 2nd in the India Oaks and the Indian derby to stablemate Revelation.

So, in a way, Pesi creates history by having ridden to victory the grand-dam as well as the great grand-dam to victory in Indian classics as a rider and now, he does the same, as a trainer, with Immortality.

A great piece of history was created on this day by Pesi, first as rider and later as a trainer with 3 succeeding fillies and mares ( Eminence and Psychic Flame as a rider and then as a trainer with Immortality ).
