The Right Strategy Gets The Race

By Cruise_b'lore | 03-Apr-2021

Hello folks,

Trainer Vikash Jaiswal ought to be complimented for getting New England, a mid-range specialist, to win at a scurry (5.5f race ).

Though many would have taken a beating in the mentioned race, it is important to bring to notice of the wonderful tactics employed by trainer Vikash Jaiswal to get the race.

As most serious punters of the game are aware that New England lacks early speed and is not cut out for shorter trips. His ideal trip is the 7f one.

This where the trainer's role comes into play - The strategy!

Trainer Vikash Jaiswal would have been aware that New England has a terrific dash but lacks early speed. Also of the fact New England takes time to warm up.

The master employed the best tactics available on hand to him. He had Amorous White, a known speed-specialist, at his command. He saw to it that Amorous White sets a hot pace to suit the needs of late-rusher New England.

That strategy paid off well for him. Amorous White set a scorching pace till well into the straight and that gave New England the impetus to come with a flourish to get past tiring legs close home.

Trainer Vikash Jaiswal deserves a pat on the back for the brilliant strategy employed to get the race.

regds,
Cruise

P.S I know many would be peeved  because New England won at longer odds and at the cost of their punt but sometimes, one needs to appreciate the brilliant tactics used to get the race even if that has gone against one's interest.

Very easy to analyse the race after the result. Even Mr vikas jaiswal did not know that new England is going to win today. Every thing cant be planned in racing. Many results happen which nobody knows.

The same rider rode  last time. If you see the replay ,the horse was pocketed on the rails ,there was a gap for more than 2: horses and when he started moving the gap was closed by the front runners and he had to stop riding  and finished 4th. The race  was for horses rated  81+ and NE carried 60kgs.and now 52.5 kgs because of 95+ class. The horse was drawn 6th and the jockey cleverly rode through out wide to give more distance  to the horse as it was 1200 metres. Since he ride the horse last time he must have been sure of the late dash and he rode accordingly and won. Credit to the trainer for running the horse  11 times before for getting the right handicap and race to win. Every punter should know that the horse is never tried whenever it runs. The connections wait for the right race and handicap to make a race of it.

I agree with you.  For a win of New England, the only difference is,   I suggested all the points enumerated above, before the Race.

At Kolkata, shock results are dime a dozen.  Punters will be definitely better off if they restrict their bets to barest minimum that too preferably at tote while betting on Kolkata races.

It is very easy to ignore New England as the race is for 1200m whereas the animal is better suited to 1400m or 1600m races.

Trainer might have successfully experimented by using Amorous white as pace maker but the point is even if he had failed, then winner would be Areca Legend, a bombshell.  Absolutely no relief to punters.

And the icing on the cake was the pathetic show by Suraj Narredu.   Was in action on 5 horses.  But, zero winner! Punters backed Dothorki as if to recover their entire loss of the day; but the horse finished 6th out of 6!

BEST OF LUCK TO ALL PUNTERS IN TODAY'S MUMBAI RACES.

Shhhhhh, fault of people not analysing New England's previous run. It was glooming, could have made home if tried better, now with an excellent rider given the whip who is always under portrayed most of the season, what else wud u expect.
