Godzilla is right . It is time for abundant caution and prayers . As for cancellation of Delhi  races even as the live telecast had started , it appears that race meeting was being conducted without permission of the govt . On Sunday , there were over 25000 cases  in Delhi  with almost 30% positivity rate . One person was dying every 5-6 minutes due to covid and curfew was imposed over the weekend  which has been now further extended . Conducting racing on Monday  under such alarming circumstances amounts to gross violation of ethics and guidelines with no concern for the citizens  or the authorities .  The concerned authority seems to have rapped DRC  at the last moment just befor the start of the first race . This sorry episode has shown  DRC management  in very poor light  and  they need to   introspect  . Such  irresponsible  acts will never further the cause of racing in India  .

What was the problem . Govt has allowed sports activities without public. I think the club forgot tha horse racing is a sport.

Mr Cinch has said "races may be cancelled".  There may be several thousand punters who also might be thinking similarly.

The surprise is only in announcing the cancellation after inordinate delay.  There was no need for Delhi stewards to play the game of "hide and seek".  Thee announcement should have been made in the previous day OR at worst before 10am of 19th.

I think Ooty Races will also be cancelled as the number of Corona cases are rising very fastly....But Corona will not effect the IPL as they have taken special permission from the virus not to effect them....What a joke....Very funny indeed.....Yeh Mera India....

You are right.  In racing, a rupee lost is lost for ever!

A punter betting for the first time in his life might be dreaming about the profit.  But, all his subsequent bets are only in the hope of breaking even.  

There are some tipsters who say 1000% sure win, 10000% sure place etc.  But, my suggestion is you should decide yourself before betting whether the risk is worthwhile.  Believing this or that tipster may prove profitable sometimes.  But, such approach is sure shot disaster most of the times.

1-5 SAPPHIRE - Had just couple of runs in maiden company. Last run 4th over 1100m can be considered a lung opener with K Narender Kumar on board. Now running in 1-26 class, 4yr old filly and moreover TS Jodha taking the ride is ++ Miss Blue Fairy will not go without a fight, shall place.

2-1 CIRCLE OF GOLD - Recently ran a very good 2nd over 1200m 1:12:02 behind Shailika with Gurpreet Singh on board. I am confident should be able to beat the bunch with ease with Ishwar Singh -2.5Kg. Just Class who ran a good 2nd should run well to place again. 

3-1 MASTER CAUSEWAY - Winner of two races and then ran a close 5th in a higher category over 1100m. Extra 100m will suit with SG on board should win again. Lively will not go without a fight. Both are highly rated compared to the field.

4-5 JET RAFLE - Consistent this season winning 3 of the 5 races. Last win over 1200m in class 3 beating few good horses. Can beat Lodge Keeper who is a winner of last three races who has moved from class 5 to 3. Both are 4yr olds and in good form. Slight preference to JR.

5-1 TIA QUEEN - Kolkata import. Last three runs 2-2-2 all over 1600m. Now travelling 1400m will suit. I am sure will see the winning post in its first run in Delhi. Ashwa Kahira who won its last two races in class 5 will be difficult to perform a hattrick.

6-1 SPARTAN X - Ignore the last two runs over shorter distance. Prior to that ran a good 2nd behind Excellent Girl in a mile race. Now with the weight advantage should be able to reverse the placings. In the same race Organic Grey was 6L behind the winner.
