Hope you are fully recovered I like you for your knowledge on other fields rather than racing your narrating  ability  command on language and  ever positive attitude but there are unforsed errors sometimes in remarks since few years we find some counter from another stalwart almost instantly, you are 82+ he is 65+ almost a generation gap maybe×maynot a endless story.

 Strike rate needed  to win with betting  on one horse in a race if you restrain from odds on favourites i think 30% strikerate good enough,If one backs 2 horses he needed 5 or 6winners for day card of 7&8 races.what i understand chankyaji betting is 10 horses if card is 7races & 12 horses for 8races half of the bets are single choice even 33% strikerate can give him 2 loosing races in the remaining 4 multiple bet races atleast one loosing race with that  totalling 3 minimum lost races every day on average. 

I think almost impossible for anyone to be fallowed  it is much laboures way to be executed may have suited to chankya ji for +Roi, leave this unique method for him only.

Everyone try and change their strategy according to results of his systems  (method) here we see not addressed to system failure (improvement) insted increased horses to win more  races.

Just for curiosity i took a sample of 2018 BNG Winter Races conducted for 10days in the beginning of season of 72 Races totall winning odds are 333 with the average 4.6 Win odds;

Let us calculate 10 or12bets:

1)33%wins36single bets=12

Average odds4.6×12=55

ie 12+55-24=+43000-tax

2)40%of36races72bets=14 

ie14+64-58=+20000-Tax

43000+20000-10800Tax

=+52200 in Ten racedays.

Remarks>From this if one has money, time,energy to excute plan with this above Average selections system one will be in gain if one has ability to win 3 to 4races in a day(3.5avg).

But the point is if he says he is winning . what is the point proving him wrong . problem is with people who believe you cant win in this game and they  want to prove him wrong and at any cost. See how he attacked Champ. That was totally uncalled for. And if he goes down that road then he will get what he deserves. race1)  my  choice - 5,2,3

2)  my  choice (5 2) 3

3)  my  choice-  (5 2 3)

In race no 1 if  5  wins  I'm the  winner, in race  2  either 5or2 wins I'm the  winner because  I'm betting  on  BOTH; in  3rd. race if  anyone  of  5,2 or 3  wins I'll claim win  because I'm betting   on ALL THE  THREE CHOICES....

These  are  3  different  races and  not a  single race  with  'or'.separating  the  choice - try  to  understand.

I don't  care  for  your  last ot  first  post but  I  know that  you  are  a  LOSER  and can not  win money  from  races. Prove  it when  racing  starts shortly  maybe  in  August/Sep.

Why some people are hell-bent on proving Chanakya wrong. It is his money he wins or looses. Why get into dirty arguments.  Even for me it is very to digest his claims. But if he is says he is winning then I say he is really lucky and brilliant. Brilliant because you cant win regularly on luck. But some people out of there frustration of loosing are getting into such arguments.

CHANAKYA  it is true  that not all punters are loosing and some though very few are winning. You May be one of them no dispute in that but to say that you have developed a system which is giving you continuous return is very difficult to digest. But if it so then it a super achevement. I believe you  when  you  say  that  you won  3  out  of  3; also  the  Derby  winner at 8/1 But  isn't  it  a 'flash  in  the pan'.? I remember watching  Aslam  Kader  winning  6  races  out  of  7 at Bombay (now Mumbai) racecourse - but  he  never  won  more  than 4 or  5  races  from  8 races  after that.... point is regular  and  continuous  winning with  a  positive  ROI....

Shyam, tintin  may  be  contemporary  but  Cruise  was  never in  the  league  of  Shyam. He  is  of  recent (5 to  7 years) origin. Shyam  is  silent  since  perhaps more  than  10  years; I hope  he  is  well , hale  and harty. I know  him  since  last  20  or  25  years  when Saif (Studboy)  was the  convener  of  a   group called - horseracing buffs or  something  like  that....

I have a  proven  system and a  clearcut, noy vague 'betting  strategy' developed  after  lot  of  efforts which  enables  me  to  bet in  EVERY  race and  still come  out  a  winner, inspite  of  betting  on  10  to  12  runners   in  a  7 or  8 races  card...

His positioning of the mounts are well judged, he has the confidence to urge the horse with hands & heels even in close races without mercilessly whipping them. He won a mile, went back to a scurry & back to a mile in a hattrick. So what?

Nowadays I try to predict like him.

Race 1) Hold coffee cup on your right hand at 83 degree angle during race run. If it spills a little, favourite will lose by a short head.

Race 2) Go for a bathroom break. If number 3 is favourite , wait for the 3rd slot to get vacant. Then once you stand there, you may be able to wash away all the chances of the favourite & it may lose.

Race 3) Have a stroll around the canteen area & pick up some munchables from 3rd, 7th & 8th stall. The race maybe confined to numbers 3, 7 & 8.

Race 4 - Feeling a little tired, sit on the bench & just say Favourite will lose. Give a pig's shit about whether the favourite is Iron Age in a 1000 metre race, a Polar Falcon in a 1200 m or a Set Alight over a mile. Just pray, man pray. 

Race 5 - Stand with the sun setting to your backside & welcome the dusk with banging on the favourite.

Race 6 - By now when pretty little seem to have worked, pool money with Raghavan in exacta & tanala tickets & have a last desperate try to see whether enough comes out for your 4 drinks with some munchies. Voila , it works sometimes. 

And then, when I am in my dreamy liquory world, who can stop me from funding my US UK visits & ranting about them. Once I am high enough to do that, my evening is made. I am prudent enough to keep money aside for return trip to homeland which will turn soon into fairyland of dreams when I hit my bed.

I used to post sporadically much earlier when Shyam, Tintin, Cruise Bangalore etc were regular. If you want I can dig out a day where with explanations I struck 3 out of 3, including a longshot & I remember Cruise said " Wow! Champ is not just an alias, he's a real champ". But I stopped posting because I felt that I should not sermon or strutt out to others some thoughtprocess which I myself find difficult to master, leave alone perfect.

another  point - any tips, selections or opinions about races or  runners? 

Winning in racing is possible many punters I knew did well some very well including me - but that percentage is very small - comparision would be - In india number of people trying to play international cricket and number of people who actually make it .......you can get wiped out financialy / emotionally and credibility/respect wise - If you fail and lose money ...plus whatever interest you have career wise will get diluted.   Good place if you have nothing to lose and are in the right circle.

there  is not  A SYSTEM  but many systems in racing  for  winnings because only 1 to 10% punters are  winning and  rest  are losing - BECAUSE  OF  GREED, INSUFFICIENT KNOWLEDGE AND  STUPID  STUBBORNENESS. Let God  help  them !

My mistake. Handicapping system and  betting  strategy are  2 different components of a successful punter. System once found successful NEEDS continuous  improement but  keeping  the  basics intact. Betting  strategy has to  CHANGE in different  environment, track, situation etc...

for  example, same  strategy  on bone dry  track will not  work  when there  was  a  heavy  shower before ( ~ 30 to 50 minutes) the race... 

RAGHAVAN SIR , my point was if somebody is claiming he is winning in horse racing then let him be happy why I should disbelieve him. Because he has some vague strategy which he uses and he is winning regularly. He gives 3 selection in each race like bol and still manages to pick the winner is very strange. But still if he claims he is winning then I have no problem. Let him enjoy his winning amount.

But the whole point is to win in horse racing you should  be able to pick 3 or 4 horses in a day and if they are favoutes the you should have a strike rate of more than 60 percent .

My question was very basic, not pedestrian. Recently you started giving 3 sometimes 4 choices and when one of them wins you claim the victory when god knows whether you really played taht particular horse or the losing horse. In order to claim the credits you have started this new tactic. One thing i really appreciate that you have creative mind. Winners dont need to shout.

You speak sensibly when you said winning in races is difficult and most of thre punters are in loss.  But, you also say it is not impossible and we should not disbelieve Chanakya if he claims that he is a winner.

O K.  You believe him.  Absolutely no problem.

But, my belief is no body should misuse this site for propoganda and self glorification.  If anyone claims that he is a winner, he should be willing to answer some searching questions.  In other words, you may believe him; but I may disbelieve him.  I do not question your belief; you do not question my disbelief.

Chanakya says that he bets 15 to 20 horses in a day.  And anybody who bets like that will only end in big loss.  You can ask any race expert in this regard.  

Chanakya once claimed place dividend on Malavika.  The horse that finished 3rd out of 6.  

You say that people who lose continuously should introspect and quit the game!  In Sholay, mousi asks Amitabh:"yeh sharab aur juey kee aadat kisiki chooti hai aajtak?"  If every loser introspect and quit the game, then there will be only eagles & crows in the race course.  Be realistic.  

He says one should be knowing proven betting strategy!  There is no betting strategy that guarantees success in a betting game. You can make some discreet enquiries and satisfy yourself.

The game is so structured that a very shrewd punter wins one in three games and that punter is a confirmed loser.  So, a bogus claim will be questioned.  If he is really a winner, he will attempt to convince me.  But, if his claims are fraudulent, he will be screaming.  Well.  His screams does not scare me.  

Winning in racing is very difficult every punter knows that but to say that it is impossible is wrong. Certainly most of the punters are in loss but some do win and chanakya May be one of them ,there is no reason to disbelieve his claims.  Nowbody can teach others how to win. Every one will have to make his own strategy based on his own experience. 

I have only one thing to say to people who are continuously loosing please introspect and if you cant win then dont risk your life leave horse race betting. Just because every body is loosing so iam also loosing so it is ok is not right.

Seems one has well recovered from Covid & back to buying new new bottles to pour old stale wine. Happy that he's back to form again. Can again have some hearty laughs at the cost of concocted daydreaming.

I do'nt follow  international racing because I've  neither  time  nor understanding of  various background information. However, in my  US visit during  2016 I  did  visit  few  race courses - Santa  Anita , Del Mar and  did  try  my  luck with  the  help  of  DRF (Daily  racing  form) and  did  win few  hundred  dollers - but that  was  more  of  a 'tukka' win rather  than  a result  of  an analysed nalysis...

Anyway,let  me  explain.

I was  drawn  in this  game when  I came  to  know  that  lyricist Rajinderkrishna  has  won Rs.44lakhs ( taxfree) from this game. The win was  from  a  jackpot. I also started investing in JP, Treble etc but  found  over a  period that  my  outgo  ws  more  than  the winnings. If  my  spordic  wins  gave  me  8  or  9 lakhs  my losses were  close  to  10  lakhs giving  me  a  negative  ROI. Gradually, I changed over  to  betting only  on  win and  occasionally  on place ( >3/2)...

Change  is  the  law  of  nature , perhaps it does not  apply  on horseracing...

Since last 10 to 15  years  I'm doing  rolling on some  days, eating weak favorites  every day  as  well as  using  Astro knowledge EVERYDAY...

DO I HAVE TO  SPELL IT  OUT EVERYDAY ?

your  point is  correct  when  you  are  playing  only  2 or 3  races in  a  day. Losing  both  or  all three  races does  not  need  a  bankroll of  20  times  the  betting unit. But  my  method  is  different. I bet  on  all races in  the  hope  of  catching  a  dark  fluke and  therefore, to  stay  in  the  game I  must  take  care  of  losing  streak  which may  last  6,7  or  even 10  bets in serial  betting...

People sometimes  retire from  race betting only  under    conditions; either  they    have  lost  heavily  or  they  have  won  more  than   enough...

I'm planning  to  retire  after 2022/2023 season  after  visiting  all  the continents... I cancelled  my  Europe  trip  of  46 days of  2020  because  of  covid scare an  I don't  think  I  can  go  outside country  before Feb/March 2022...

Yes is my answer. On 28/12/19 when I came  back from my middle-east  trip I read  a  thread in this forum  opened on 22/12 19 , that  it is  not possible to  win  from  races. I advised  the  writer that  it  is  possble and  to  prove  my  point  I posted  my  selections  on this  forum and my  blog  from 29/12 19 till 12/3/20 when racing suddenly stopped. On 29/12 my ROI was 6 1/2 units, on 2/1/20 it  was  28 3/4  units  and finally till 12/3/20 I was  plus more  than  50 units from  Mumbai races alone...

My betting  unit  is  2,000.

Winning 1 or 2  races a day does not  give me  the  same return . as  betting   on  all races, as per  my  strategy because  then  I catch some  dark  flukes which  compensates  for  the  loss incurred on failed bets...

Nice concept to know and good information. What you said is fact I am not agree on one thing bankroll 20-25 units It's not mandatory depends on how you are playing. Play only your choice don't play all races.
