I do agree with Vachan's performance,  need yo wait and see whi will mount this animal, to me looks like a competitive field. Nevertheless,  I do not deny your choice. 

Botero was the best lay for 2021. No form overrated had no business to run here and the result confirms.

Big race, the previous runs and trackwork won't help in picking up the winner as there will be an outsider always like Kensington before, the Fancied or Fav won't WIN today here. 

1 Akido - a big gamble in Chennai, after that it is running low and 7 Firepower is better than this horse.

2 Ashwa Raudee - lack of form and not suitable for 1600 mts.

3 Blue origin will be favorite and it is not a 1600 mts horse, it is suitable for 1200 mts only, so it might get Third place bcz of AK47, else it will be board out.

4 Botero from Bisate dam and ran with few good horses in Hyd, whereas Botero's 2nd run itself and too early to perform in guineas and can be placed with PS.

5 Buckley and 6 COS from Sunderji, 5 with NS parmar has no chance as he is avg rider, 6 COS won by 5 3/4 lengths in a weak field, but its dam - Lombardia, mostly we know the horse Lombardy in hyd, this horse has a chance for place.

7 Fire power, this horse will be backed by Jockey Suraj Narredu fans and with dam like Rosina, it will be in frame. I doubt this horse with Suraj (remeber@salazaar run) will not give a fight and mostly SLOWLY OFF at the start.

8 Painted apache is from same stable which doesn't have a chance in this field.

10. Stockbridge - Bangalore horse which had beaten few good horses like A star is born(2nd in Pune derby), Antibes, Pissarro and this is the DARK horse in this field as it had given tracks with Kensington before it won here in Hyd. 

Final choice: Upset chance: 10 Stockbridge EW, 4 Botero and 7 FP.

Dear friend what logic works or what doesn't is completely ones personal strategy. Second nothing is sure shot is racing. Also the mood of horse, previous runs along with which class of  horses and it's track work,  track condition,it's pedigree, intention of connection and last running and riding in race are indicator to which one can imply his own logic.so you don't tell me which logic works or which doesn't.you can deny that the horse will win or about its chances but not the logic. Even a novice horse can win some time without any of logic so it's better you conclude your own logic ideas for particular race but don't teach or tell me what will work or what will not 

If you don't like or agee don't play that horse .it's that simple.

Second@ Ruchi I respect your astro knowledge and other logics but I don't think that this horse will be board out let's wait for results

FIRE POWER ..when it ran second....That race last 200 mts,horses were plodding.Pk see the replay again.It took eternity for horses to reach the post and it appeared they were running in the same place.

Today no chance for FIRE POWER..That was ZUCHERELLI only second run,so don't take that as basis.Also horses improve leaps and bounds ,BOTERO had only one run .I am not saying BOTERO will win but that comparison is also wrong.I have some other horse in mind who will upset all but FIREPOWER just forget it..it will not win,even place doubtful
