From 15th May to 24th May, 10 calendar days (6 race days).  Rain God ensured that the punters do not lose even one rupee.  The punters to please do some kind of "thanksgiving" homa to the Rain God.

There is no Derby for this month as per weather forecast report. Please wait until weather gets clear good. Have a fun with your family????   !!!

Ooty races postponed further to 26th Thursday

22nd and 23rd postponed ooty races has been cancelled due to underfoot conditions of the race track not being safe and conductive for racing.

RACES CANCELLED DUE TO UNDERFOOT CONDITION NOT BEING SAFE FOR RACING.

1. MORESCO .. Finished second in last run. Running with 8 kgs better handicap to Gangster. Must win.

2. NAGADA .. Demotee. On board in last run. Won twice in Cl IV earlier. Can win easily now.

3. SKYLIGHT .. Close second. With apprentice 5 kgs allowance, can make a race of it.

4. DARK SON .. Placed third from nowhere. Now should win and hoist Dr. MAms flag whose colours  has not won a classic this season at Ooty.

5. Pensee Should win in this set.

6. WINDSOR WALK .. Right distance for the Winlegend progney.

7. THOMAS HARDY .. Can take a chance.

8. MANZONI .. Demotee.

1-5 ROYAL TREASURE - By Gutaifan. I will continue to back this horse unitl it wins. I like the breed. Now has the weight advantage comparing Moresco and Gangster. My 2nd choice would be Moresco.

2-4 NAGADA - Had a lung opener in Ooty over 1400m race. Should give a good account of herself travelling 200m less and in the company of 6yr+ Gaurav is retained to ride.

3-3 SKYLIGHT - Ran a good 4th recently over 1200m. With an apprentice riding this time -5Kg is a huge advantage. Hallucinate and Pjroposed both won in lower category, might find it difficult to win but might place.

4-11 REMEDIESOFSPRING - By Multidimensional. Winner of 1000 guineas over 1400m. Extra 200m will surely suit and should win the Derby. I will not look beyond this horse.

5-2 PENSE - Won very impressively in Chennai over 1200m and later run was in class1 over 1400m can be ignored. Should win beating Judy Blue Eyes.

6-2 SINATRA - Ran a very good 2nd recently. With Akshay on board should see the winning post this time.

7-9 SINGLE MALT - Only 3yr old in the race and at bottom weights and moreover AA on board who is riding well. Should win.

8-6 RAISINA - Should win this no whip race.
