@Darkfelt: I am not targeting any one. If it is a terms race the handicapper has no role to play since the weights are allotted as per the terms of the race. In handicap races as the nomenclature states,it is based on handicap and weights allotted. Here the handicapper's role is very important so as to rate and allot weights to give chances for all. If it is his own centre horses there is no problem but when you have visiting horses from other centres, he can revise the ratings.

Eternal Blaze's rating was revised by nearly 27 points for finishing third in a terms race ahead of higher rated horses. The two horses which finished behind EB were worst off by the terms. The handicapper should have revised EBs rating at the most by 10 points. I do not know whether the revision was done by Madras handicapper or by Bangalore handicapper. The Bangalore handicapper could have revised the handicap for summer season after knowing the arrival of horses from other centres. He had the option of revising Miracles rating also.

If EB had accepted to run along with Miracle in the same race it would have carried more weight than Miracle. A horse with 8 wins set to carry less weight than a horse which won 2 times only. How can you call this fair handicapping ?
 Decades ago, Red Cockade with 3 wins @ Madras and No Problem with 3 wins @ Kolkata (both 3 year olds) was first handicapped by Bangalore handicapper. Both were handicapped in Class II while Red Cockade carried top weight of 60-62 kgs and No Problem carried bottom weight 49 kgs. Still Red Cockade beat No Problem by 7 lengths.

Handiccaper cant compare Miracle with Eternal Blaze as you did. Please acquire some knowledge before targettiing handiccaper or the any one with out any facts.
