1. Bramastram .. Placed at good odds.

2. Nikolina  ..  With drawn.  Thank God.

3. Monteverdi .. God placed close second on debut.

4. Cavilini .. Slowly off to lose the Race. Yet came 3rd. Obsidian, the less said, the better it is, finished last.

5. KINGS RANSOM .. PSC the most experienced Jockey in the bunch, acted as if his mount got hold up in traffic and then came with a devastating run to finish third. Cant digest.

6. Promise Kept .. Lucky to win. Credit goes to Jockey Trevor for handling maintaining his cool.

7   .. Siege Perilious..  AK47 not reliable on favourites.

8. Matera .. Jockey to blame who made the horse to run start to finish with heavy impost.

Your post race explanation does not discuss one important aspect.

Normally jackpot  is paid on one ticket or carried over when at least two horses that are quoted at 15/1 or above wins in jackpot legs.  But, yesterday only two horses Philosophy & Multi starrer, neither favorites nor rank outsiders won.  (May be both are 3rd or 4th favorites).

In fact, no-9 in the last leg was 2nd favorite, the favorite being Matera.  Even then out of 34 tickets that survived the 4th leg, only one ticket passed after no-9 won.  It seems punters were brainwashed to believe that Matera is Bank of England.  Highly misplaced confidence on a horse that finished nowhere in its previous 3 runs.
