Well I haven't noticed any changes to the tote on 1/8/22 .

Same pathetic dividends on display at the turf club and on the online platform .

Given by the dividends released on 1/8/22 i do not think that all India tote experiment has been implemented yet by the turf clubs and if at all it was implemented and despite that the dividends look so pathethic then GOD save the tote playing punters.

Usually tote punters don't like betting on horses that are paying anything below rs 20 . Even if they know that the horse stands a good chance of win/place at these odds they will try and find an outsider which pays higher and loose everything and this is how most of the clubs make money on tote .

a common platform for betting launched by the Turf Authorities of India last month, will now start on August 28 instead of August 1 as announced earlier."

The National Tote is likely to provide a big boost to the racing industry and it is going to be beneficial for the punters as all the money placed by them at the different racing club's betting portals will be combined in the National Tote to show approximate dividends in real-time and the dividends will be paid accordingly.

 Let's hope the best that a **Punter Friendly Tote** will come soon in to existence/ operational & it will cover maximum features. My request to concerned authorities that "Forecast / Quinella Pool" should be charged less betting tax. 

  My appeal to HT Forum Members to understand your betting strategy fully n felicitate you, also. Perhaps, today's Bookmakers may not like this simple movement. (Self'm a simple punter & not in position to go for bet millions or talk millions.)

 Good to note the date about commencing of Common Tote in India. Mr.Brar n his family very enthusiastic in almost all racing aspects, since past so many years. 

  As regards popularity of racing, very much in Europe Continent, as these totes are available in small small restaurants for the convenience of punters to book their tickets/bets for various pools n enjoy some tea, coffee n get respective dividends cash back with in this short span.

Yes it will be implemented from August 1 but will be officially launched in aug 28 in hyd still that time software will be checked in every centre simulations will be on to look for any bugs

The product is yet to come to the market. The news as per IR and Mr.Poonawalla in RWITC  that the National tote is likely to be implemented from August and no specific date had been said. Since it is come from reliable two sources we have to wait and watch for its implications. 

As usual Mr.Raghavan wants himself to be ready with all nuances about it to strike it when implemented. The sad part is all including the two who have spoken about it are as blind as the other regarding its implementation and implications. 

Everything will be open to everybody before it is implemented. There will be teething trouble for sometime and how soon it is going to be set right for smooth operation which only time can answer. All know the initial trouble faced with our new IT portal developed by the best in the industry. 

There are more questions in addition to Mr.Raghavan' s. All the club's except Bangalore/Mysore have their own online betting sites operated by third parties. Whether these will be integrated as if it is club owned and sharing the club's commission or what club's proposed to do with them.

RWITC/BTC and Mysore charge for online viewing. The other clubs are free . When Totes are integrated then all should be able to watch the races online or whether it is restricted to betting in the respective club totes. 

So I hope the group of all the club starlets who are engaged in developing and implementing would have taken deep study into every aspect of it.

Let us first congratulate all the turf clubs for having combined together to think and implementing the one tote.

I conjecture that It will be implemented in a phased manner starting with jkpt and the whole process will be completed on 30/09/2022.

There is no quinella in kolkata. The whole software has to be changed and make it unique all over the 9 totes, technical aspects also taken in to consideration. So in all probability it will take time if they are going to implement it. But it's good for punters who bet in tote .
