What will be the odds offered by bookies when the horses won.  Let is say it will be 4/1.  That means a punter who rolls 3000/- on the above 4 horses will be richer by around 18 lakhs. Of course, all the four will not run in the same day.  So, a punter has to bet on one horse, receive the dividend, then bet the entire dividend on the 2nd horse whenever it runs.  The process to repeat when the 3rd & 4th horse runs.

By rolling 3000, one gets 18 lakhs.  What if one rolls 30k?  or 90k?  The amount that one wins by bettling like that will be 1 cr 80 lakhs or 5 cr 40 lakhs.  Amazing.  

What happens in actual races?  The punter normally loses the first bet itself.  In case he wins the first bet by way of a miracle, he will definitely lose the entire amount in 2nd bet.  

In race course horses run as per the dictates of the bookies.
