I have a personal hunch that the Chennai races might be affected today, depending on the weather. If conditions permit and the races are held be cautious while placing your bets. Many of you have mentioned the cloudy weather. Below are my selections but I'm not entirely sure about the fitness of the horses:

Race 2# RELIC WARRIOR - Should win today.

Race 3# MAYFLOWER - A good choice for a place bet.

Race 4# It seems like a fight between RULING STAR & GRACE.

Race 5# RUBIROSA - Might place at long odds, but SALENTO looks like the winner.

Race 6# GODS PLAN - has the potential to upset the race.

Race 7# SHEER ROCKS - should contend for a top 2 place.

2-7 RELIC WARRIOR -  Last three runs 2-3-2 over 1100m and 1200m recently. 4 ARMOURY was 3L behind Relic Warrior in same race over 1200m. I don't see the reversal in placings. I think a sure shot win for RW.

4-5 GRACE - By Multidimensional. Recent run a good 3rd over 1400m with Hindu Singh on board who is taking the ride again. I am confident that Grace is better than 4 RULING STAR who lost by a Ns over the same distance.

5-2 ONCE YOU GO BLACK - By Winlegend. A classic horse, ran in many term races behind class1 horses, winner of Mysore Derby in 10/22 in which 6 SALENTO was 5L behind, who later won Hyd 2000 guineas and Derby. Coming after a long gap of 9 months might need this run. OYGB latest was behind Shamrock. Now got a good opportunity to come back to winning ways.

7-6 SUPREME GRANDEUR - Came flying after a pathetic start and ran a good 3rd recently over 1200m 1:15:38 with S Farid on board who is riding again. If takes a level jump this time will be hard to catch.  3 BRERTHA is a LAY BET for me. 12 SHEER ROCKS will come in fighting line is a good place bet.
