I am a bit surprised by the recent tips in this forum. How is it possible that a horse, which ran just four days ago, is running again with lower weight and in a higher class ? It's completely confusing for punters and I don't agree. Today, in the case that 'IT'S MY TIME' loses for any reason, I may consider leaving handicapping. If it turns out to be a lay bet, as someone suggested in this forum, I will be disappointed. In my handicapping, it should win unless there's a DNF scenario. This is how I approach handicapping from my point of view. Thanks

Race 1 --  This race to be run over 1600 M for horses in the lowest class. The only horse who has won a race is COME BACK PLEASE but with jockey S G Prasad declared to ride, it does not inspire any confidence to go for a bet.

8- LEO THE LION (N Bhosale) is well placed on handicap and runs with a chance. 

For me it is 8- LEO THE LION.

Race 2: Just 4 runners going over 2400 M. EXUMA is the likely favourite but may find it difficult against experienced runners. 2- REGAL COMMAND looks good; if reproduces the form shown over last run, it should WIN.

2- REGAL COMMAND (Bhawani Singh)

Race 3: 10- ETOILE (S Saqlain) has been 2nd twice in this season. Another chance can be given to enter the winners' circle.

Race 4 : 6- ATAASH (Haridas Gore) runs with a good chance having placed 2nd behind DEXA just 4 days ago.

Race 5: NO CHOICE in 3 y maidens race.

Race 6: Lowest class, 1200 M. 1- CHAMPAGNE SMILE (N Bhosale) runs with a good chane, outer draw is a setback. Should be able to get into first 3.

Race 7: 2- ADAMAS has been very consistent runner over last few runs. He has a good chance in this mediocre set.

Observations for the 4th race today. 

Pride's Angel, and Lord and Master, older horses, ignored. 

A. Yudhvir hasn't done much, and non jobber A Merchant riding, so off my radar. 

Of the remaining three, purely based on timing in their current runs at Bombay, borh Believe and Ataash have cracked better timing than It's My Time. Ataash is running within 4 days after a good run, so obviously the connections are hoping to cash in on the good form, but I believe that BELIEVE,  the youngest amongst them should prevail in this set. 

In the 3rd race, for me it's between ETOILE and LIGHT OF LIFE; both have run on the same day, and calculating at level weights there's nothing separating them in terms of timing. 

2nd race, REGAL COMMAND, a C&D winner can score. 

In the 6th race, HAGIBIS, with a non jobber like Shelar is the favorite, in such circumstances the horse usually wins.

1-8 LEO THE LION - Still a maiden after 18 starts. Last run a close 3rd over 2000m 2:5:0 I fancied couple of times previously. This is a lowest category race and others dont appeal much to me. I recommend an eachway bet. LAY BET for me 4 FLOYD.

2-2 REGAL COMMAND - Last run an impressive 2nd over 2000m 2:1:38 Extra 400m might suit. It has to beat 4 EXUMA by Australia who won well over 2000m in a class 4 race. Odds of Exuma is good for eating.

3-10 ETOILE - I fancied last time to win, but unfortunately ran 2nd over 1200m 1:11:58 Now going the same distance, should be able to win this time with Saqlain on board.

4-6 ATAASH - Last four runs 2-2-2-2 Ran a very good 2nd recently over 1200m 1:10:77 in a class3 Now running in a class 2 with bottom weights. Prior run was good too over 1400m 1:23:27 3 ITS MY TIME is a LAY BET for me.

5- Check horses in the ring and decide.

6-1 CHAMPAGNE STYLE - Ran a good 2nd recently over 1000m 59:58 Extra 200m will suit with same apprentice jockey retained to ride. Again a lowest category race and many of them still to win a race.

7-2 ADAMAS - By Mineshaft. Ran well to finish a good 3rd over 1000m 58:33 Extra 200m will suit and had performed well in pune with better timings. It has to beat 5 DREAM SELLER and 3 JET FIRE also will come in the fighting line and sure to place.

It's one horse race with Deacorn in hands of Jockey N S Parmar.This horse was good 2nd to recent Delhi derby winner earlier..no reason to loose even though it's a first run at Mumbai track. 

I would request you to back this horse tomorrow as chances are very bright in this weak field to break it's maiden tag in long Mumbai stretch.
