@Larry,

Timings are different for every center. Timings also differ for different seasons of the year. Penetrometer readings play an important role in arriving at timings.

It is very difficult to convert timings from one center to another, though one or two centers timing come nearby. If many horses in a race run at nearby dates and nearby Pr readings , then it becomes a bit easier or else a lot of mathematics is needed, still one is not convinced at the results, but it helps a lot.

Over all, this method of taking out timings of every horse is very useful in arriving at the few horses which should be in the top 3 or 4 in every race. Also it can point-out a particular horse should win by good margins. Also note that  different weight and different jockeys play a role in arriving at the timings of horses. It is a very tidious and time consuming task, but is worth it. Hope this gives a little help and understanding to you.

would u mind providing your selection with little explanation on why you have selected that particular horse in each race.

Explanation would give us more confidence as , sometime we both may select a horse for the same reason.

Wihtout a reason, It's like following modiji, whatever he say people thinks thats the ultimate truth without asking a single question.

98% people here just give selection with no reason or very little explanation, like walk in the park, win by 5 lenth, no one explains  on the basis of Tracks, past performance, speed as per penetrometer reading with current weight,speed rating( except few).
