In response to my request regarding confidence on LIVER MORE you had educated two salient points, point (1) is:

(1) Horse may short left at gate.

It happend with

(5-8) SECRET BOND (Saqlain)

Big question "How it was known to Bookies in advance"

As per India Race odds were supposed to be 0.80 but at BTC ring opened at 1.60. Gradually it went up & up and stopped at 2.75. The horse short left at gate and finally came 4th.

Please give your post Race Analysis whether:

(3) CHAMPION WAY (Suraj)

was better than 

(8) LIVER MORE (Saqlain)

Definitely Suraj is better than Saqlain.

Again the odds for LIVER MORE which was supposed to be 1.40 opened at 1.75 and went upto 2.25 but backed down to 1.75.

Odds for CHAMPION BAY was supposed to be 3.75, opened at 3.75 and remained at this level with only small variation.

Sir, Post Result analysis is always useful.

I was just trying to tell is that what a marvelous fortune it would have been for anyone or at least Mr ABD if he had started with rs.1,000/- for the last 4 races. Ok, if odds go down for a roll bet, then you can also play unit bets, isn't it?

In that case, 

Maverick - rs.1000 @ 10/1 = 11,000

Thanks - 11k @ 12/1 = 1,30,000

Champions Way - 1 lakh @ 3-1/2 = 4.5 lakhs 

Finally,

Crown witness - 4 lakhs @ 1-1/2 = 10 lakhs

So, Mr ABD came close to making 10 lakh rupees from just 1000 but how much he played on these horses we don't know. Even if he had played a plain rs.100 on the tote, I think he would have made rs.50,000 and more. Am I right?

I am extremely sorry to those who followed me and lost heavily. I too was in bad receiving end yesterday. Had I played on my choice in first Race heavily and then quit, I would have been smart. I was waiting for Livermore Race and got ditiched.

Lesson to be learnt......if you are up by winning on your first bet, then dont gamble and watch the fun. 

This has not happened in my long career. From 90nP in the morning to 2.5 at betting time, Livermore odds were raised, it was a clear indication, that the horse will not win. I became a fool yesterday. I am cursing mysef, I welcome all the brickbats. Please feel free to bash me.

Hello All, @KK you are mentioned if your roll bet is Rs1000/- will be Rs2.5 lakhs . It's wrongly thinking of calculating the bets. For example if you roll over the amount the bookies odds will be change, not the same and if you bet last bet 1 lakh rupees you not gonna get 1.5 odds . Odds  will go down to 75/100 or 80/100 . Odds  goes down. Anyway good luck and keep dreaming big bro.

It is the scale difference, in Race no 79, the highest rated acceptor (Bold Beauty) was 34 (34=60kgs) where as today's race highest rated is 45 at 60kgs.

The following risks are there  in Racing

1. Horses getting struck at the Gate or Horses slowly off missing the jump by several lengths.

2. Jockey falling from the Race at any time during the Race.

I can only suggest Winners on Merit. Even God cannot gurantee anything in Racing.

The other day Jamari won comfortably by 3/4th length, however, to the commentators eye it was anybodys Race and made the Punters hearts[who backed huge on Jamari] pounding till the result was declared. 

These are all uncertainities involved. Even in photo finish, sometimes the Camera may err. It all depends purely on luck.

5-8 SACRED BOND - By Speaking of Which. Very consistent, last five runs 2-3-2-1-2 Last couple of runs over 1800m 1:51:60 which is very good. Now Saqlain is taking the ride is ++ 2 KINGS BEST, I fancied in last few runs might run well, but sure to place at good odds.

6-7 ADBHUT - I fancied in last few runs, but unfortunately did not win 3-4-3 in last three runs over 1200/1100/1200m very close to the winner, ridden by Saqlain who is riding again and priror couple of runs ridden by apprentice. The danger will come  from 12 DALIS DESTINY who is winner of two races and got weight advantage, is sure to place.

7-4 FAITH - By Admirality. Travelled from Mum/Mys/Ban/Kol/Mum/Kol/Hyd. Winner of four races out of 11 runs. Recent a very good 2nd over 1200m 1:12:95 with PS Kaviraj in the saddle. Now booking of TP is a very positive sign. Extra 200m will surely suit and should win this time.

8-8 LIVERMORE - By Speaking of Which. 50% strike rate. Coming with two back to back wins in 1000 Guineas and Oaks. Therefore proven over the distance winning by 6L 2:31:96. Many of the runners yet to got the distance I would prefer 6 THE GODFATHER by Cougar Mountain, might go the distance, I strongly  recommend a place bet who is coming with a win over 2000m in Mumbai 2:1:21.

9-3 SETASTAR - By Speaking of Which. Lightly raced, just four runs. Last run a 1L 5th over 1100m 1:7:89 with Mukesh on board who is retained to ride. The only danger might be 8 CROWN WITTNESS who ran a close 2nd recently over 1200m. Now Suraj in the saddle to be respected and will not go without a fight.

Champions way, The Godfather, Truth and to.some extent aldila will fight it out. Especially truth with imran chisty has a fair chance to win the derby.

For Livermore it's not gonna be a cake walk like oaks where it encountered a very very worst set of duds 

Truth will run a good race.

The Godfather has done well to win in Mumbai after it's setback ---- tracking well should be in the thick of things; my confidence is belied by rider Yash, good place bet is The Truth ---- consistent performance with regular tracks( taking away all tracks notified by name Truth included) ----- Shadow of moon will do better than Livermore in the race

My observations for the Derby

1. Aldila - won over a maximum of 1400, very difficult for horses who haven't performed over at least a mile, prior to the Derby, so condidently struck off. 

2. Anab E Shahi - 2nd to Truth over 2000, may stake claims for a place, that's about it. 

4. High Command - Same comments as for Aldila, an "I also ran the Derby" type. 

6. The Godfather - Hyderabad track debutant, race 36 beat an average field, definitely can ignore. 

9. original Sin - Beaten by Livermore at the same distance, and on same track, not possible to reverse that verdict. 

That leaves me with Champion's Way, Shadow of the Moon, Truth, and Livermore. 

At first, a cursory glance at the card made me feel that it's Livermore all the way, however, on checking her runs I'm no longer that confident about this one, no doubt she's the C&D winner, having won the Oaks, but that field wasn't that great, with the field average rating being about 50, and also, in the Guineas, the same thing, quite an average field there too. 

The remaining three are the ones that I'm trying to choose a winner from, and I feel that Son of the Moon may be sacrifided as the pace setter for Livermore, and I foresee Champion's Way, the perennial front runner to just be content to stay 2nd to SOTM till he reaches a crucial juncture, and then depending on how the other three are doing try and time his assault at the all important end, leaving them to fight for the minor berths. 

So my order of the finish would be

CHAMPION'S WAY - winner

Truth - Runner's up

SOTM, Livermore, and Original Sin fighting for 3rd place, maybe, Anab E Shahi too. 

Suraj with Champions way will win the Golconda Derby.

Looking into last run of Truth & Anabe e Shahi in 2000 mtrs race i think Hindu sing kept Anabe shahi little far when truth already made its move though it was moving well it could not beat Truth which was also moving good on that it Anabe shahi was Godzs first chice but in derby as Trevor is riding and 400 mtrs more to travel definitely its better than Truth and very good bet for place at decent odds.comments plz Godzy Sir

A tough fight is expected between Liver more & Champions way former having slight edge to win Golkonda Deccan derby to be held at Hyderabad on Sunday. Shadow of the moon, Truth & High command may fight for 3 slot. 

RACE 1= CANNON ROSE(7) Safe Place bet at whatever odds.

RACE 2= DIABLO(3) Should leave no stone unturned in winning.  Play win at any odds.  If it's win it's on board or else place out.

RACE 3= TRACK BLAZER(9)In last few runs he was mishandled but if this horse takes proper jump n comes front than hard to loose. Play each way.

RACE 4= BEAUTY FLAME(6) Each way keep an eye on  LIGHTS ON(14).My calculation is race is between these two horses only.

RACE 5= BLAZING GUN(12) If Vivek G manges to tackle FARA(10) well than entire batch no one can match him. Each way is safest.

RACE 7= LEATHER BACK(2) Will get tough fight from DALI'S DESTINY(12). Still I prefer Leather Black. Good each way chance for this Bangalore horse.

RACE 7= NUGGET(2) Safest bet. Keep an eye on AKIDO(1) .He can upset.

RACE 8= Trainer Mr. L. D. Silva &  Jockey S. Saqlain shall be very careful because Suraj Narredu is not on horse like  Snowpiercer this time. This time he is riding Champion Way his own horse. For me this race is between them and I don't think Livermore will have easy outing as Oaks. Still as Livermore have been my favourite when no one gave him chance so I will love to see him getting Derby also as everyone now going behind him only. 

RACE 9= CROWN WITNESS(8) Whether Suraj wins derby or not, no one can take this race fron him. only CHAR EK CHAR(4) Will give him fight.
