Saudi Cup 2024 Pedigreestar Selections

By Ravi Gowande | 23-Feb-2024

Saudi Cup 2024 Pedigreestar Selections.

Selections purely based on Pedigreestar system Analysis and Name of Horse. If horse Name has to go in history books it should be strong, powerful and harmonious with Pedigree of race horse. In group races Pedigree is reflected on the tracks. Remote ancestors do pop up to make a mark.

Saudi Cup 2024 Main Feature event 20 million Dollar race.

Japanese going to dominate for sure, Winner can emerge from

1)    Lemon Pop, Derma Sogotake, Crown Pride, National Treasure. My First choice is Lemon Pop for Win.

2)    Tower of London for win, Break up, Enemy, Roberto Escobar, Skazino ,Diva Donna place chance.

3)    Hearts Concerto Win, Alooqaal, Grocer Jack, Killer Ability, Starcat, Spirit Dancer

4)    Leon Bathrat Win, Annaf, Art Power, Aguri

5)    Remake Win, Cairama, Power of Beauty, Sunset Flash

6)    Forever Young Win, Oasis Boy, Ajwadi, Set Up

Luxembourg and Mysterious Night both favourite on tote boards from Top Owners, Trainer and Jockey combination are facing tough competition and plenty of runners in both the races who can beat. Also odds offered on are not justified by me hence not considered at all in the selections. Will place but win looks difficult as per my analysis.

'pedigreestar system analysis', sounds a little bombastic. It's like the country rooster which boasted that without its crowing the sun wouldn't rise, only that it did not take into account that millions of cocks thought the same but all didn't crow about it.

Every knowledgeable person will vouch for the fact that trying to gauge and predict the outcome of a race solely or mainly based on its name or some astro numbo jumbo is ludicrous to say the least. Believe in your system or beliefs, but no need to brag, it's not without reason that this is called a mug's game.

People with far greater intelligence and intellect have failed to decipher the riddle/enigma, there is no holy grail here

Bengaluru is one of better racing centres in India. BTC today has 331 horses rated on website and average rating of horse is 40. On international scale this is rating of 25 or less. From this group of horses expecting an international group 1 winner is very optimistic.

I think I have made my point, Ravi. Going by Birthday or Name is about as effective as a blindfolded monkey throwing darts at the race card.

Incidentally, a former British trainer of mine ran a horse in the inaugural Saudi Cup races. I suspect not because his horse was up to it, but because a mutual friend - an English aristocrat - was one of the very heftily paid people involved in setting it all up.

Horse transport and stabling, all expenses for a team - flights, hotels, chauffeured cars to and from the airport, to and from the stadium, all meals, were paid for by the Saudis. On the last day, they were told to go to a fancy mall, and buy anything they wanted and put it on the Saudi organisers' account! Imagine the cost of paying for the Americans and Japanese.

By the way, the Kublers - whom you also know - had a horse in the Saudi field this year. I only realised a few minutes before their race and sent a "Good luck" message to Claire (Mrs Kubler). She responded immediately, so must have been watching her phone while saddling her horse! :-)

Mr Murari You have not understood my point of view. Out of 28 selected by me, only 11 are in the money, that is, the first 5 places are the only ones where owners are getting the stakes money. It is an expensive game. Traveling and boarding in a foreign country are not only expensive but risky as well. Nowhere have I claimed you put money into my selections. Other than the three, the two winners are long shots. Which are my shortlisted ones? Its your perception. These are international horses and group races.

Look this has gone too far. Here is your "Best ever" result:

1. Lemon Pop - 12th

Derma Sogotake - 5th, Crown Pride - 9th, National Treasure - 4th.

2.Tower of London (7/4 favourite) - 1st

Break up, Enemy, Roberto Escobar, Skazino ,Diva Donna - all nowhere to be seen.

3. Hearts Concerto - 11th

4. Leon Bathrat - 10th

5. Remake  (2/1 Favourite) - 1st

Cairama - 5th, Power of Beauty - 7th, Sunset Flash - 8th

6. Forever Young (8/13 odds on Favourite) - 1st

Oasis Boy - 8th, Ajwadi - 4th, Set Up - 11th

Certainly not "In the money", even if you backed all 27 horses.

Stop trying to pull the wool over people's eyes, Ravi. The more you post, the more it becomes obvious to all your are merely a fantasist. (Good luck with that Dubai Sheema Grade 1 win against the best racehorses on the planet).

Mr Murari you belive in astrology or not is your choice but it works. My view why I say it is the best result so far for me is as under.

from 6 races 3 winners are right. 50 % winners tipped. Normally I do not consider Tote Favorate but went with Forever Young and Tower of London. as Name matters and they won on the winning post purely on Jockey skill. I had shortlisted 28 from 77 runners. from this 11 are in the money that makes 39.28% success rate which is good. from the 11 runners are 3 winners, Ajwadi 46 to 1, Cairama 23 to1,Sprit Dancer 14 to 1, Killer ability 24 to 1, Enermy 11 to 1, Annaf 11 to 1. From the favorites that is experts and past performance basis not considered at all bookendanno, skelly, bold journey ,the foxes, White abbario. I was 100% confident based on my system Luxembourg, mysterious night is not going to win. My system is for Owners, Trainers, Breeders who want to earn more stakes money. and not for punters. However using my system punters with low investments can encash in combination tickets for sure.

Ultimately it is your perception. Success is the sole judge of right or wrong is statement I am going to follow winning a Grade 1 race with an Indian Bred race horse in Middle East is my target. Dubai Sheema classic is what Indian Breeders, owners, Trainers should try. we have the Pedigree horses to beat them for sure.

Ravi, with respect, how can you say this was one of your "best ever" tipping results? You have mentioned almost 30 horses that the winner can come from. This sort of so-called "tipping" is next to no use. We all do that when we narrow down our choices.

And let's face it. One out of twenty seven 'possibles' is atrocious tipping - as usual. Your "system" based on horror-scopes and names is pure superstition and speculation. Sorry,

One of the best results I had for the pedigreestar system except Saudi Cup most of the other races winner is already pointed out. Annaf is particularly important 16000 Guineas Purchase gave a payout of 1.2 Million USD to owners full credit to trainer Mick Appelby and Jockey Rossa Ryan.  Mysterious night 13 th at 2.7 odds in Hong Market flopped  clearly indicated as False Favourite , Luxembourg was 4th at 1.5 odds 2 length away from the winner clearly indicates luck factor for the connections. Jockey Ryan Moore tried has best. and compensated at the winning post with Tower of London in the next race. Personal biases definately incluences selections. However future is for owners with limited budgets, Trainers, Jockeys who have worked hard for years are going to get their dues for sure. Senor Buscador trainer is unknown in the market but had the confidance in his horse  whcih paid off.  Probably new owner from saudi gave them the 1 % luck factor needed to cross the winning line. Form vise senor buscador has been consistent and even 14 to1 odds in HK market is very high in my opinion. It is my personel biases, liking for few jockeys, trainers I missed him. Any way my system has worked pretty good and I am confident that Its time Indian Owners, Breeders, Trainers, Jockeys should explore Middle east for Indian Bred horses. Unfortunately as mentioned by Kartik our system is such that I am not able to race in Indian turf clubs. They want to play among themselves only. Afraid of competition probably.

@ KARTHIK Congratulations to you... Keep on doing good work. AJAY ANNE is another one doing great in international arena with NEW APPROACH Bloodstock DUBAI. Brought some very good gems like JULIETTE and ENABLER to Indian horse racing. Proud of you Both.

Big guns from breeding or ownership side always do mockery with club officials.. not only in India it was there every corner of the horse racing universe. Do your work. Rest depends upon the club authorities. All the best for your future endeavours.

Few months ago Mr. Ikram Khan wrote "The big goof up is the talking point in the racing circles and most pros and owners made no secret of their opinion that the inexperienced handicapper lacks the capability to satisfactorily perform the task on hand. Add to it, it is learnt that the man has a couple of blue-eyed boys, who he loves to dole out favours and the Vishesh issue is a serious case in point. Karthik, a couple of senior trainers pointed out wanted Vishesh to pick up a couple of races at this centre which will help the youngster from Chennai gain a licence to train at this centre. t maybe recalled that BTC roped in Karthik, an understudy to Jagannath at Mysore Race Club (MRC) despite the fact that the handicapper lacked the experience and expertise to satisfactorily perform at this big centre."

A serious journalist is the one who do research and write the articles. He will not jsut write anything without facts based or evidence based. This man has written just listening to the rumours. Sneaking into the office and not contacting the one against whom he was writing and just collecting information from others. That is his way of working as journalist!!!

The reason I have quoted the above is, at that time I was working as the Handicapper at BTC. Today I am proud to say that "I am the Handicapper for the World's richest race Saudi Cup 2024". If I would have lacked the capacity to satisfactorily perform the task on hand I wouldn't have been at this International arena. If I lacked experience and expertise to satisfactorily perform, a country giving away the prize money of $36.7million wouldn't have simply employed me.

Nothing wrong in criticising someone but do it with some sense. Just by listening to someone who lacks ethics, integrity and knowledge you will landup writing something which you will regret afterwards.

For a moment, if I agree to the point that I lacked all the necessary education, skill, knowledge, understanding etc., I would not have been at the place where I am. I am proud that being Indian, I am represeting my whole country in horse racing as everyone from other countries are surprised to see Officials from India working at the international level.

Anyway thanks for your article which always reminded me to reply to you by my work.

Thanks,

Karthik R
