Well, I have got to agree that I have ended up with an egg on my face all because of your accurate assessment of Julitte's chances in the Indian Turf Invitation Cup.

Juliette, Juliette, Juliette. As I had mentioned here it just was a walk in the park. Atleast in the previous run Juliette had to be given 2 - 3 taps to win the 4th Eclipse stakes. Today there was no work for the whip and CSJ never used it even to brush the horse. It won by 8 lengths in RECORD TIME. It is the GOAT horse of Indian racing. What a horse ????. One in a million horse.

Well, to counter that about my choice, Jamari, I would say that you need to factor in the fact that Jamari ran the Indian derby just a few days after the Bangalore derby victory. Juliette ran after more than 100 days, whereas Jamari ran after just 7-8 days.

The reason why I prefer Jamari to Juliette is the fact that Jamari sets her own pace, whereas Juliette needs more ground to give her best. The danger is my other favourite horse, Synthesis.

Mr Golden you are right seigecouragious is running both day if I am not wrong in Bangalore invitation day jockey Christopher lemair has ride Strength to strength named horse in both day in1400 mtrs race it won on both day in 10/1 odds on that day no match for that horse .. it is possible if prasaana horse is as fit as the work shows.. it all about racing .. in Mumbai also one ride by bhajrang Singh first day lost as fav second won hands in 6/1

Jamrari's task is cut out. Kalamitsi and Champions Way will be trying to cut each other's throat by going in front on a start to finish mission. Both have run and won the distance recently.Kalamitsi ran an unexpected race by treating the higher rated Success in disdain by triumphing over 15 legths. Success is a multiclassic winner and Kalamitsi has not won a single graded race.

Champions Way winner of two classics including the Derby at Hyderabad. Jamaris stable were wise enough to have any pace makers and also ensured none from their own friendly stable unlike in the Indian Derby where Fight On ran a cut throat race. This resulted in Jamari to up the pace instead setting its own pace. The same scenario will be there in Invitation since Jamari will find it difficult to control the pace.

Both in Bangalore and Poone Derby the pace was moderate and so it won at Bangalore and lost to the finishing power of Enabler in Poone. In Bangalore Synthesis had stumbled near 1700 meters which must have upset it's running. With the pace of is going to be Jamari may utmost finish 4th.

Please watch Juliette's run whenit won the Eclipse stakes for the 4th time running after a gap of 100 odd days. It might appear difficult by the margin of victory but it won with few taps only. Further, the pace set by Kamaria was not that fast. In this Invitation the pace should be good and Juliette should win easily from Narredus racing team deciding who should finish 2nd depending upon the bookies odds for place.

They will go with the highest odds horse as they did  with Wall Street finishing 3rd in Indian Derby.

SEIGE COURAGEOUS is running in Sprinters' Cup on Saturday and Suresh Mahindra Multi Million on Sunday. Quite a few horses have tried to do this double in the past. Some have attempted Sprinters' Cup and Super Mile Cup double. The first successful attempt was by BERGAMO at Calcutta in 1985. This horse on both the races. 

Few others also did it, only I am not able to recall the names immediately. The one I recall is STRENGHTOSTRENGTH in 2002.

I hope this clears the doubt.

My views, for whatever they are worth, are contrary to yours. My reading of the current form of Juiliette is that she is off her peak. At eight years of age, not being in top form may take its toll.

The short Calcutta home stretch is cut out for Jamari, and she ought to romp home in this year's edition of the Turf Invitation Cup. Only Synthesis poses a threat.

Siege Courageous...Trainer prasanna kumar...jockey Vivek.G....its on zavary s Poonawala multi million and suresh mahendra multi million...how its possible to take 2 runs continuously...can any one reply abt this and get me a clarify by seeing the race card.

There is no horse in the Invitation field to beat Juliette. The field has only 7 horses and the gamble is for the 2nd place. Barring unforeseen racing incidents for Juliette it is going to be walk in the park. It narrowly lost 2 Invitations and had won the next two. It has run in all the racing centres barring Kolkata and Ooty. It will be running in Kolkata now. The only other horse to have run in all the centres barring Pune is My Opinion and has won in all the centres.

Juliette is a one in a million horse very very difficult to beat it. I do not want to add why it lost 2 Invitations since it may not be published in this forum.

I should say that  JULIETTE is GOAT horse (India) I have seen in my 60 years racing life.
