Yes I agree 5th race was very difficult.

But still for me NORTHERN SINGER ,  FIERY RED and DEMETRIUS were better than ARBITRAGE.

ARBITRAGE was my fourth choice. Need to relook what went wrong. How did ARBITRAGE beaten NORTHERN SINGER and FIERY RED..

Ajoy, you nailed it, when predicting results of the 5th race, well, I could not figure that out, so please share how you picked those, do that on Thunderstrike's post, because I've mentioned something over there based on results of 5th race, which you might find usefuluseful for future.

I beg to differ, that is the reason I am trying to figure out. I have not even started reading Mr Larry post in my thread. Also waiting for Mr Jitendra and other experts to share their knowledge.

Let me tell you how I filtered my selections based on Mr Larry said post.

It was an open race for me. I had NORTHERN SINGER , FIERY RED , DEMETRIUS , ARBITRAGE

It was very difficult for me to select because

FIERY RED horse number 4 and door number 4

DEMETRIUS horse number 7 and door number 2

ARBITRAGE horse number 11 and door number 11

For me FIERY RED and DEMETRIUS were better than ARBITRAGE

So choice given DEMETRIUS.  Withdrawn.

I would have failed if I had selected FIERY RED

Also ARBITRAGE (  I guess , Number 11 means 2 ) and second race winner astro number is same. Good for Jackpot.

Mr Larry needs to explain how FIERY RED lost and in last race RICOCHET won.

Both are horse number 4 and door number 4.

Or probably Mr Jitendra knows , favourite was supposed to win or loose as per astro

1-1 CHAT - Ran 2nd recently over 2400m in which 2 ALPHA was way behind. I don't think it stands a chance here. Chat should prevail under PS.

2-1 REDOUBLE - Won very impressively at 25/1 beating Villenelle who won on invitation day. Has to beat 3 RAISE THE STAKES who won very well too. It's a toss between the two. I would prefer an Eachway bet on 1 REDOUBLE.

3-1 TOP OF A GUN - Winner of last race over 1400m 1:23:19 Speedy customer 200m less to travel will suit more with same jockey retained.

4-1 LORD AND MASTER - Running a class down, had performed well in higher class a close 4th over 1400m and 6th over 1200m. It might winner longer odds. Again I prefer a good Eachway bet.

5-1 ENLIGHTENED - Running a class down. Ran well in higher class in Pune with apprentice who rode in last three races, is taking the ride again. A speedy customer. Should win wire to wire.

6-2 OPERATION FINALE - Brought down in class last time and was given a run which can be ignored with SP Ranjane, still was a 7L behind the winner 1:12:71 Now with stable jockey R Ajankya should run well winning, just 4yr old.

7-3 NOBILITY - By Decorated Knight. I don't know what was wrong with this horse just had three runs so far. It should win in this lowest category race by beating 4 RICOCHET.

My choices for today. Without going into the nitty gritty of numerology I feel that the numbers 2&7(linked numbers) and the number 4 are strong for the day, however I find no merit in any horse with card no or draw no 4, except in the last race, but I do see loads of horses with potential with the numbers 2 & 7, so here are my choices, based on merit, and based on numerology.

1st race – Can't pinpoint a winner.

2nd race – SANTISSIMO – Now the horses that have run, and won, all have clocked average timings, comparable to class IV and V, so can't really go as per timings, but any horse can show dramatic improvement in the 2nd run, and I feel that Santissimo might be the one, based on pedigree, being half-brother to Plenipotent and Iron Clad. With card 2 and draw 2, my strong numbers for the day, I feel that this one would oblige.

3rd race – Quite an open race, but based on numerology, and being strong on Elpenor in the next race, who has card 2 and draw 3, I'd go with CELLINI, who has the same numbers, so card 2 and draw 3 for this race and the next.

4th race – ELPENOR, the winner of PBMM last year, went back to parent center, ran a commendable 1400m race, and connections probably got a bit ambitious, running him over longer distances, now back to Bombay, and that's a heartwarming thing, because the way things are going on at RWITC, with horses from here migrating to all over the country, whereby the state of this club is that today we have an average field strength of just 7 horses, quite pathetic, in fact, even lesser fancied clubs like Delhi and Mysore have a well-filled card, so Elpenor, welcome back to Bombay, I'll see you at the winning post all alone.

5th race – QUEENS PRIDE -  Won over the same distance and in same class last Bombay season, Pune course might have not suited her, now, with a positive switch of jockey, who coincidentally has a sole mount today – a positive sign – should oblige.

6th race – Quite a difficult race to crack, but once again, following my strong number 7 for the day I'd go with HIGH SPIRIT (card 7). The only other horse I considered over here is DAGGER'S STRIKE, winner over 1400m, and with draw 7. So I have a toss-up over here between the two, and I feel that there's no third horse over here that would prevail over them.

7th race -  Toss-up between Good Deeds, Ricochet, and Tanhaiyaan, however, the last named comes into reckoning just because it's a winner over 1400m, nothing else, last few runs are nothing to rave about, so that leaves me with just two, and this is the only race where my other follow number 4 comes into the picture, with Ricochet having both card and draw number as 4, however, what strikes me about Good Deeds, apart from the fact that she's sporting blinkers for the first time, is the fact that Akshay has accepted the ride, now he has four mounts for the day, and after riding in the 4th race there's over an hour's gap till the 7th race, and top-flight jockeys usually don't accept mounts in the last race if the horse does not stand a chance, because obviously everyone would like a short day at office, so that's my logic to prefer GOOD DEEDS over here.

Dear Thunderstrike and Ajoy Shah, I might post something on Thunderstrike's recent lead post before going to the course, so if time permits do have a look at that, however, if for some reason I'm not able to post it today I'd do it by tomorrow.
