@kamal. Saw your response to Thunderstrike and found it interesting. But in this particular instance, previous run though was with lower class eligible but no single horse was rated 1-20 in that race. In fact it was a proper class 4 race with min rating of 24 and 45 running. Both earlier races was proper class 4 .

@Thundetstrile let me brief you one simple aspect which no one told you but it's practical. 

Tomorrow in Delhi in race no 3 horse number 8 ZILLIE is looking actually good for win but I tell you this horse won't be on board now you will say I am wrong because in last race sane class same distance same handy same plate this horse cane good second than why he can't?  

Read that race properly it was Class 4 distance 1200 n lower class horses eligible but tomorrow it's same distance same class but that lower class section is not eligible that means this horse will be running with stronger horses so he can't compete. 

If it was same as of his last race than his handy would have gone to 59-60 .

Instead of following who was suspended  what he did in swimming what he did in mock races and all just follow card  properly you will get your answer.  Trust me you are getting wrong guidance. Be practical. Everything happens once in time. I respect all tipsters but I don't care for those tipsters who give illogical reasons for horse not winning or being on board  The formula of excessive whips fine is waste.... It have no logical racing theory...

In my 28 yrs of racing, I have not come across any formula by which we can be sure that a horse can win. Yes, there are instances were a jockey has been fined or suspended for excessive use of whip and in the next run the horse did not win or has come on board but it has been otherwise also. Similarly, we have also seen that when an enquiry is made on the poor running of a horse, the horse has either win or come on board in the next few races. But again it has been otherwise also. So we cannot take these as a benchmark and come to conclusion.

I believe that every horse is prepared for a particular race and it is the trainers who know the best as to what are the chances of their contender/s in that race as the trainers also need to bring in money for the owners. Recent examples being Tiepolo, Blinky Bill, and so on.

I agree with JP sir that we should not completely ignore the racing incidents, but also look for other observations as provided by him.

Everyone has their own theory for backing a particular horse and in some cases it comes true and in some cases it fails. There are many things that the punters look into like the class, distance, rating, weight, handicapping, jockey, timing, racing incidents etc. etc. yet no one is 100% successful.

I believe not to play all races, though you may have studied and made your selections. Play only those races where you are confident depending on the odds. Always play safe and back your bet in case if it does not win.

we will not chase trouble some horses 

for our betting either win or place. Rare cash only happened like yesterday.

But include in your jp, treple tkts. Only reason for yesterday win is went in aged horses bunch.

Picking better horses mainly from the 

following two types,

1) Improved in all aspects from better bunch (positive) { win or place)

2) Failure in all aspects from poor bunch

Brother Thundstrike first of let me tell you I always go through your tips n find it interesting.  You always give horses for courses. But don't go very deep. I agree with Mr. Manish when he says no one is master.  Every bussiness have own way of convincing. So don't run behind every aspect Chalk out a theory n play.  Every punter have own theory.  You won't be exceptional.  Read everyone follow what you like.  Play what you like don't go behind what others say.  And lastly I will say if you want to be successful punter don't carry lots of negative weight on your head.  I tell you no one can stop the horse from being on board if trainers n owners n management wants it.  So don't waste your energy on all matters just be normal n play.  Best of luck in future. I agree but my aim is to first learn and find better accuracy. Because I have burned my hands by betting huge on Democracy.

See the thing is. I play forecast , quinella ,tanala and Jackpot , mini jackpot or some times treble. My principle is to make money from lowest investment 500rs max a day and rotation. Reason , I am not perfect/expert so I don't take risks on individual bets.

I know the racing last 15years, anybody haven't any formula in  horse racing. But one formula is success in this field that, you win only 10% p/day of your  money.

Example --you have 50k , you win 5k only p/day in racing. If you have some knowledge in this field.

First of all the lead post is with regards to the racing incidents and the role, if any, it plays in the future running of the horse(s).

I replied to Thunderstrike about the importance of it.

Now coming to the points raised, which certainly are genuine, , by you; let me elaborate a bit on the your PERCEPTIONS.

Point No. 1 - How can you perceive a horse to be goood or bad based on just one run, in this case, the maiden bid of Tiepolo?

The Fact: For a horse to be deemed as good, bad, or average, it needs to a minimum oof three runs to come to any conclusion.

Point No. 2 - Not all debut runners are precocious, as some need one or more run to come good. As such, how can you just go by the maiden poor run of Tiepolo?

The Fact: Tiepolo definitely needed the first tun, which many professionals call a lung opener and some say to get a feel of the track, as his subsequent effortless victory proved the theory true.

Point No.3 - Your perception that Tiepolo performance was contrarsting is evidently true but perceptibly wrong.

The Fact: If you care to notise, in his maiden bid, he was seen struggling to keep up with the pace. In fact, he was trailing the field about a furlong after the start. In its second run, he responded to the urgings of the rider and gave the desired response to get past tiring legs.

or mock race level jump. If it take level jump

we have to see post records who it meets

either superior set or ordinary.....Today first race it came 2nd, with PARKER. Today is the

very easy bunch for TOUSSAINT but it came poor 2nd. So next time it won't come to board.

Several remarks in the racing incidents are for showing off and fool the public that they are meticulously following each race by rule book. What is the follow up ? Horse should be given more gate practice before accepting to race next. This observation is seen in horses showing reluctance to enter the stall and delaying the start.You can see many horses running without gate practice in the next start. For eg: Temerity won the 1000 and was favourite for Oasis. In RWITC  if the horse refuses to be stalled in 2-3 attempts it will be withdrawn. In Temerity case the horse refused to be stalled and in trying it got his head struck somewhere. After nearly 10-15 minutes delay the horse was removed and examined by the Vet who certified it fit to race. The horse was loaded and the race was started. Temerity ran last detached from the field and finished some 25 lengths behind the 2nd last horse. Stablemate MRS.Padmore won @ 7/1. Temerity ran a hell of race in Indian Derby to finish 3rd due to the wrong calculation and won the Invitation at Bangalore. There was no adverse remark in the RI. Some incidents reported are helpful like saddle slip, bumped at the start, clipped by the horse running close, dropping of the whip,lose shoes or missing shoes. 

Amazing Bay lost the Invitation @ Madras the home town of MAM due to the lose shoes. The reason was the farrier was bribed by the betting mafia to do so for a sum of Rs.50000/.. This news was reported in the leading English daily.

Another famous incident was Ice Age and jockey Martin Dwayer. Ice Age is known bleeder and it was allowed to run within a stipulated ban period of one month when Martin lost by short head. RWITC took a stand that the jockey did not ride on merits and suspended him. His appeal was also dismissed. RWITCs request to UK for upholding his suspension was turned down by the British racing authority.

Some incidents are helping but majority of them are neither followed by those involved nor useful in anyway.

In excessive use of whip case if there is a switch in jockey , for precaution we can ignore it but can we keep it in combination ?

MY PRINCESS has won the race but still I have seen few horses recently with excessive use of whip not winning next run. 

So one thing is confirmed to not take a risk as an individual bet , but can we keep it combination is the question ?

In the first race TOUSSAINT was my choice but can't confirm so left it out. Can you share some knowledge on the above mentioned racing incidents and how to consider the horses for next run based on these racing incidents

Sir, this is with full regard and respect to you, please don't take it otherwise.

You say "I go by facts as they are thrown at me, not by perceptions. Only cold, hard facts". Sir, is it not a fact that Tiepolo in its last run was 16lenghts behind the winner, clocking 1:27 plus. Is it justifiable to explain improvement of 16 lengths, 3 seconds in just one run - of same distance and at same weights. Tiepolo had been given just two workouts with Alacrity - both finishing level - which means if Tiepolo can win atleast Alacrity should have been somewhere near.

Even if you justify it by Pedigree please give a thought what had the earlier offspring of Jacqueline (Nicollini) done - just won once in class IV and retired at a rating of 40.

I hope you will also consider these FACTS.

First of all without a whip a horse will not urge to move to gallop as far as I know

1. Heavy whipping will not be allowed by their connections in case of first timers either 2 or 3y old. If the jockey use slight whipping, the horse urges and put its best foot forward and tries to win shere on its blood lines

2. It is observed in some races apprentice jockey astride will take a good jump especially in no whip races and reaches winning post,  How ? If it is 1000-1200 can be possible. Beyond 7f I think it is very difficult to take it up to winning post with out whip. If the connections require to win they allow their jockey to even heavy whipping if necessary

Today Kolkata race I saw two horses MY PRINCESS, BANSKY were poor Performer as per racing incidents.

(1) Jockey P Trevor, the rider of MY PRINCESS has been suspended from riding in races on Tuesday, 19th March, 2024 and Wednesday, 20th March, 2024 for excessive use of the whip (3rd infringement)

(2) BANKSY dropped out of the race from about the 500 metres and finished the race detached from the field. On the morning of 17th January, 2024 BANKSY was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be lame on left fore. Tr. Shafiq Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

After seeing these incidents, we should stay away from betting such animals. I am not advice to anybody but I share my experience how to avoid failure in horse racing

Jockies and Trainers are smartest ones in the business. Most of the time whipping is for public consumption only. Whipping cannot make a horse win. It is only meant as a measure of control. In rare cases, there could be a lazy horse , which may not be worth following. In any case, excessive whipping is not allowed. 

Trainers of horses are smart enough to advise jockies to finish in midfield, preferably 5 th or 6 th , not far away from the 4 th placed horse, if he is going to run into the money in the next outing. 

A trainer wants to stay out of trouble and hence he lines up all possble reasons for the performance/non performance of the horse. Of course, the explanations are readily accepted by the authorities. 

Gate behaviour of the horse is of utmost importance. The horses which get off slowly, even if losing 2 or 3 lengths, cannot be played with any certainty. More horses retired due to gate behavior than anything else. 

Once a Blood Vessel horse, a blood vessel horse forever! Playing such horses is, avoidable. 

Betting is an art.  Crazy and greedy cannot make money in horse racing.

People have knowledge and are not applying at the right time.  Follow horse and bet at the right time. One cannot win all races. Bookies should be able to give away money if all best horses win.

The handicap is in such  a way framed that bookie should not lose.  At least one race fluke will win.  Place bets will flop.  If first and last race are bad,  other races are good.  If first and last races are bad other races are easy. In  1st 2 nd and 3rd races  one race will be bad. Otherwise 4th race will be bad.

Always 1000, 1100 mtr races favourite may not oblige.  Be careful in above 2000 mtrs also.

If draw no and sl. No. Are same next race no.1 will come either sl. No. Or draw no. or no.10 also. Pl see many incidents in all centres.

In a season top jockey and trainer will do hat trick.  Top jockey will win at 10/1 and flop at 1/2 money.

Mainly recent track work and good form will play a big role.

Racing is always. Raise yr hand slowly.

You have every right to your perceptions based on the facts that are quoted by me. Whether Trevor Patel did this or not doesn't matter to me. It is the runner's ability that stands supreme. You go by what the rider does or does not do, but I go by the inherent potential of the runner.

Try doing that, and there will be one less bitter person.

Punters have been cheated by Trevor Patel riding or by setting.  Last time people backed him blindly for place n win but he ditched n yesterday no one considered him for place n he came from behind 20lengths to win... If this is not setting Than what it is... I don't agree to you. Might be I am wrong but yes I am sure yesterday none of horse ridden by Trevor deserved to win but in end they won n it shows where horse racing standard  gone in RWITC

Secondly, if anyone wants to consider than in most cases change of jockey from previous race to current race if the current race jockey is of less caliber or talented also sometimes trying to claim allowance, so in most cases that horse doesn't perform that well.

Thirdly, many of the time when a form horse is not running in his/her pet distance than the horse who is slight lesser in form with run with consistency but master of that particular distance goes on to win.

Fourthly, avoid baby races or first outing races. Focus on open class races. And mostly even terms races are difficult for racing students to pin point the winner and earn some money, if you calculate the winning percentage of that student in term races it is always abysmal. So even if after avoiding baby races and terms races and only focusing on open class races if still even after studying very much if not satisfied or sure about any particular race just skip that race. Some days you will find four five good races to bet and sometimes just one. Buy your time and don't get trapped in the betting ring. Behave like a saint.

Fifth, always look for if the horse was hanging in or out and how much it affected the running of the horse. Or interference of which degree. Watch the past races of horses which are under 10 to 1 odds.

Sixth, the long distance races from 1800 to 2400 meters are the toughest in win prediction and when you calculate the winning percentage of all your races you will realize.

Seventh, always try to read the trainers mind. Contemplation Reflection and Deliberation is the key. Inveat your time and efforts in racing. Devotion abd Dedication is key to success. 

Eight, don't go with a predetermined mind for any horse because most of the the times our day's best bet goes hay wire. Open mind and heart will help you to achieve the desired goal. Don't run after the odds let the odds settle down in the ring. Be alert and aware awakened in the betting ring. Chew the odds well before coming to the conclusion.

Nineth, paddock condition of the horse is most most most important and as important as your handicapping. How horse travels from paddock to the starting stall. Paddock condition could be a in-depth subject to study and discussions.
 

Tenth, horse racing is all about art and science. Don't ignore anyone of it either.

Art means horse pet distance, form of the horse atleast it is on board in one of the race from last three races, draw number in the sprint races. Sometimes it's horses for courses, change of jockey, past racing incidents, class demoted or promoted. Change of equipment. How trainer enters the horse for that particular race while studying the relative horse field.

Eleven, no friendship in the race course especially during the racing time. Talk as much less as possible. Just meditate on the races. Don't involve in any activities of distraction or disturbances. It's matter of money our hard earned money.

Science means current  RATING is the most important factor, the horse actual performance of the past five races. Track work. Medical reports and also if horse has tendency to bleed often. Starting gate issue etc etc.

Inspite and despite of all the study and consideration we falter as we are human the symbol of imperfection. 
But overall after monetary calculations if at the end of every three months one comes out of the race course triumphantly than he is the gid of horse racing.
