Agreed, being maths teacher and horse racing punter are two different aspects. Somebody asked my passion or livelihood, so had to tell them my profession. Nothing else. 

There is no definite logic to horse racing but finding probability should not be hard. More data is required and change in pattern should be updated.

Anyways , I do bet but not necessarily every day or every race. Because I don't have good strike rate.

              Like everyone exercising their liberty to give tips in this forum, you are also entitled for it. There is no question about it. I have neither encouraged nor discouraged  you in that aspect. Please know, Tipping is very easy. Where you are not going to risk your money. The most difficult part in racing is punting. Because one has to risk his hard earned money where there is no guarantee for any return. In this racing world, the worst part is punting. . Because 0unters are always at the receiving end. Hope you all will agree. Of course these are all part and parcel of this equine sport.  My contention is please never say this is sure shot, or that is 100?win etc which may mislead the punters to wager big and ultimately land in hot waters. We see everyday many odds on favourites finishing in the rucks and the hapeless punters ruining. 

        Finally conducting PTR contest is meaningless because this is not mathematics to solve a problem as you did as maths teacher. This sport is beyond all our calculations as there is no definite theory to adjudge a winner.

Further to my post with link to SK Sagar's post on Contest,I want to suggest the following

1. 200 Points per use

2. Type of Bets    Win  Shp and Place only Points of bet to be mentioned.

3.Unutilised points of a Race can be used for other races on the same day.

4. Even a Race can be skipped and entire 200 Points can be taken forward

5.Returns   Tote Dividends of that centre OR Tote Dividend of On Line betting site like HRC  I think HRC covers all centres. This is because Tote Dividends of Ooty OR Delhi are sometimes too low.

You can refine the above and finalise

          This is a forum to discuss about real races and not illution or imaginary races. Furthermore, punters have bitter experience with Delhi and Ooty races ever since they started this summer. This is evident as no one has started new thread in HT for Delhi races yo be held on 26.4.2024. To that  extent they have burnt their fingers. I strongly believe you are just a tipster and not a punter. Just to promote the sport among others you are posting your tips here. 

        Only if you wager your hard earned money on a horse , then only you will feel that it is not a fun game.

I completely agree with you. But I am free for next 30 days , so thought of investing my time in testing everyone's survival skills. ( Ofcourse imaginary investment ). Recently I clearly said to Arun Boxy that expecting wonders at this time is impossible.

Can you refer to me SK Sagar's Contest rules, any link for reference. I will immediately bring in change. But investment must be 1000rs per day at Max. And points calculation must be based on tote.

For fluke hunters , I thought to present the accuracy %. At the end of the day, I wanted the punter to decide whom to go with. I mean we have Krishna , Bang On , Ksrao ,Saidas , and many more with longer odds selections. I will obviously mention in the final report how much investment was done versus returns ( alongwith number of failure and passed bets )

Forecast, Tanala etc was just an idea. Obviously if you have 1000rs for the day,  not everyone will bet on one horse. 

The reason I am referring to tote because I don't have access on odds.

Neither passion nor livelihood. I am a simple man with simple target. Once achieved I will move on to a different field.

I used to teach Maths and chemistry ( this is my passion ) .

For certain personal reasons took a break from teaching. I am  available for sometime, will achieve the target and you won't see my post every day.

With regards to money, I have already done enough and can again make money by teaching .  The reason I am surviving here in racing, because I am not hardcore addict in gambling. When I am not perfect, how can I invest blindly. Small amounts like 500rs per day is ok for me. Because that's my daily expenditure. If I don't have 500rs I will skip betting that's all .

Please for God sake my username is Thunderstrike and not Thunderstrile. In past I have seen so many multiple user names while criticising me has always used name ' Thunderstile ' . I am not saying you are the same person or belongs to same group. Just that now I am getting bored with baseless ranting.

Coming to the topic. I found few loopholes in Navin Pune's point system, which if they agree to take ideas from others and  improvise will fetch good report. I have nothing against them. They are investing their time and making report. I think you didn't observe but I was fairly doing well.

With regards to Master of racing is not my dream, getting better strike rate is my aim. Once achieved you won't see many posts by me.

I am being  practical, that 1000rs on average is what punters can bet per day . So if somebody can do wonders in this imaginary PTR Contest for 30 days , obviously punters will follow him/her. 

There is no benefit in Navin Pune report. Atleast in PTR one can show their skills. Like for example I give two choices in one race, do you think my second choice was supposed to win ? 

Please share your thoughts on improvisation. I am not here to take place of Navin Pune or anyone's place. It's just for 30 days. I think after that they will be back. 

The purpose is to test the skills of tipsters in this imaginary contest. That's all. If you have better idea please share it. Or you can run the show. I don't want any trophy or fame on this platform. I am here for knowledge and improve my strike rate  that's all.

@Thundetstrile I always see your eagerness in learning n trying too hard to be master of horse racing. 

Your this concept is in as you are not satusfied with point system of Navin Pune.... Tell me how will you calculate in tote for all different centres.  Tote can never be sane... 

I personally don't think your this dream selling projection will be great success atleast with Punters who enjoy playing rather than dreaming.... With Navin we have benefit of knowing who is consistent or who is good at centre.... Tell me what is benefit with your programme.... Please tell us benefits dear 

Mr. Thundetstrile horse racing is not played on fictions if you are true racegoars than play by real investment and see.... I don't think anyone will be interested in such dreams... Best of luck to you for this.... But I love to fulfill my dream on field not in dreams..  .

Make it simple You are biting more than what you can chew.Take leaf out of SK Sagar's Contest. Fix kind of Bet Win,Shp, etc and Fix bet amount.For the present leave out Forecast Etc

My view 5 Units of bet per Race Win,Shp and 3 Units for Place Per race 100 points One can Nominate 2 horses per Race Tote Dividend.Calculations will be manageable Fluke hunters to be discouraged with suitable disincentives If not one can Win once in 10 Races with a Fluke and he will top the table
