Sure, he hasn't done much up until now, but when he first ran, a look at his pedigree numbers made me quite strong on him winning a Derby, so who knows, today might be the day that MANSA MUSA may vindicate my faith in him.

Well, I believe that MANDARINO trained by Irfan Ghatala will be on board for sure.The horse has run 7 races till now. It has been on board for 6 times (2 wins over long distance 1600m & 2000m). I believe that there is a reason Irfan chose this horse as a derby contender. Rest i will leave it to "RACING". Cheers.

I believe Prasanna Kumar’s decision not to go with Knotty Legend is a surprising one. I have doubts about Redefined’s ability to perform well in this Derby, so I’m predicting that Tiepolo will take the lead. This is because Tiepolo is running after the Chennai Derby, and Shroff is likely to make the most of that momentum. It seems like Tiepolo has the best chance of securing victory in this race.

Mandarino looks best among the field in this race. Consistent performance, good track, stying pedigree.

Only threat comes from Prasanna's ward, Redefined. But the long rest from racing makes me lean towards the former. These 2 will definitely be the ones who will fight it out for the win. Notable upsetter: Magnetic.

Redefined looks good, but shroff's horses can spring a surprise even though both seem to be running below par, shroff has a nasty habit of keeping a particular horse underperform and hit a jackpot in plum events.

Tiepolo is the one to watch. 

• Considerably EXCELLENT LASS is not a reliable horse much like ELPENOR and it is a Filly 
• The Top rated horses RANQUELINO, REDEFINED are from Manjri stud which is yet to be known for staying progenies 
• Shroffs ward TIEPOLO and MANSAMUSA good in pedigree but lacking class 
• SECRET SAINT running quickly after failure and doesn't appeal 
• MAGNETIC a Filly jus cleared Maiden in Oaks of Weaker field
• AQUASTIC from IRIS doesn't look could stay even with the hands of Allan
• As of me MANDARINO, having a resounding pedigree and from the ward of Irfan ghatala who is knocking classic doors this season could be a great call.

No chance for both. ELhas lost all its form and it is just a miler. MM is rated 39 and has not won in the same class. It is entered with PT up to get good place odds for Tiepolo which also looks herculean. The author of this post has switched his loyalty from Tiepolo to MM for whatever reason looks beyond racing parameters. Just because they are trained by PS if doesn't mean duds will sport wings. Over the years he has several top pedigree horses and only 1 or 2 shine. The rest are there for feeding the bookies.

Excellant lass will be on board and will have a tough fight with redifined. Both will be on board

Positinao is the force to reckon with. Last outing the late dash was incredible.  My choice Mansa Musa to fight out with Positano. Rest all vying for 3rd spot, can be anyone at longer odds.
