After all Horses are animals. They do have illness. Pain,badmood indigestion,leg and molar,Eye  issues , Infection ,etc etc just like humans. Some of them hate soft conditions  to run..Even they hate some jockies just like we hate other humans. They hate to carry excess weight.

Their health depends on their trainers and syecs.

New environments are other issues. Temperature matters lot on that day. Just like some humans some horses hate heat.

There are another 100 reasons why a horse that should   have won looses. Non interest on the part of trainers and owners and Jockey matters lot.

It has run in 2000 Guineas and was close behind Derby winner Ranquelino and Positano.

Moreover it has won 1200m recently with Trevor on it.

Run  for sun has not run since 11/24. That makes it more unlikely to win with lalith Appu.

May be just giving a run .

So in my opinion Don Carlos is a clear Winnner with Densetsu following it.

Race5:

The race is between 5 -5 Kalamitsi and 5-7 Ricardo and Berrettini 5(9)

 Kalamitsi is not suitable for 1200m.Even after crossing any stretch of Imagination I fail to understand how Kalamitsi can win 1200 m????

It can't take good jump or has  no initial speed.

It's fit for 1400 and above. That's the distance it had run all its life and recently switched to 1200.

Ricardo in it's last run did not cherish wet conditions and heavy going.

 Ricardo has better tme at Chennai compared to Berrettini.

But with Trevor a start to finish is not ruled out.

Berrittni is unpredictable tomorrow as it has no run benefit. 

After all it has spent most of its run at ooty,che and Hyd and at Bangalore it's not easy.

And it's actually a promotee .
