Hello Race Professor, Yes, it's unforunate that Country's Fire, didn't fire and last 200 metres, all fire got dozed off. I lost 10k, i played 3k win and 7k place. For YKI my best bet was on Bull Run @ Pune Derby . 9/1. In 2016.

Amount played?? Iam pretty sure you can't arrive. It's 9 peti with 5 different bookies.

I was mad about that horse and sooooo confidant. I took the help of my friends to play with 5 bookies.

There is no boasting here. It's like believe it or not TV programme. 

Even today my bet on Raise a Buck was no less than peti. I lost on 4(2) A peti. Never played last race. As I was in profit. That's my mantra always.

Hi everyone,

First, thank you (Saddle Sense) and (Come On )for your warm words. Regarding Sri Iyer’s predictions and mine too, No. 7 in Race 1 — it was looking good initially, but met with some inconvenience. Anyway, no worries.

Now coming to today’s races ...here’s a quick recap of how I played and calculated my bets. I’ve noticed that many punters play random “shoot” bets without consistency. But if we truly want to make money in this game, we need a strategy. I usually go with each-way, SHP/place combos, and cover bets. And if the odds are over ?15 for a favourite, I go blindly for place of my selection...and (come on) I can relate what you said because I play 5k each race or max go till 15k not more than that no matter however it is and yes if I am playing only one race then I give 50k max for only one race only on my favourite selection and if that horse is on top favourites.

Here's how my day went:

Race 1

A complete flop  10,000 lost.

I went for Horse 7 (5,000 place), thinking it was a strong contender at good odds. Also played 1,500 win on Horse 5, 1,000 SHP, and 2,500 place. Unfortunately, nothing worked. Just one of those fluke races.

Race 2

My first prediction was No. 2 ....I played 1,000 win, 1,500 SHP, and ?2,500 place. The horse placed well and returned ?38 decent value.

However, I made a small blunder by not playing 1,000 THP missed an opportunity.

Since Horse 5 was one of the top favourites and also in my prediction, I played 2,000 win at 30, 500 SHP, and 2,500 place at 16.

Result: Overall profit of 9,500 (excluding principal).

Race 3

Total flop.

Both my selections were at higher odds and neither performed.

Loss: 5,000.

Race 4

Played 2,500 win and 500 SHP on Horse 2 both lost.

Also played 1,500 win and 500 SHP on Horse 6 which covered the losses.

Result: No profit, no loss.

Race 5

A flop — lost 3,000.

Race 6

Horse No. 1 was giving a good place value of 20, which I didn’t realise as I had already taken the tickets and left. I still made the mistake of playing less on place: 1,500 win, 500 SHP, and 3,000 place on No. 1.

Result: 1,000 profit overall.

Summary:

Overall loss of 7,500 more or less ...mainly due to a few mistakes and the fact that I wasn’t at the race course today I had taken my tickets and left early.

Anyway, I hope others had a good day at the races. Some of your wins based  (pure handicapping( looked really solid

I have been taking note of both of you since recently and I find some good analysis and matured predictions hence this post.

I gave up betting for the time-being during last Mumbai season after I made about 5.5L on a single day with an investment of 50k (although I never play any bets beyond 50% of the capital). However, I track all the cards published by indiarace.com and also read almost all the HT posts.

'Raj Original' is another name I like here for some bold selections but what I don't like with him is his regular claims that he plays nothing short of a peti in every race. I am into racing for almost 35 years now and the 5.5L that I made last year (10 times of my investment) was the biggest profit that I have registered so far. I just cannot even think someone playing in petis on every bet and still kicking on. Maybe, words of excitement, if not exaggeration.

I read all your posts with a lot of interest as I get ready to punt again from Pune season. My principle is the same : "Go in with 50k cash, don't play more than 50% in any race. If the first race is gone, play the next five bets at 5k per race". However, I have the patience to wait and the brain to work out from all angles without which my money will not be there.

Will begin to post from Day 1 of Pune and also share the happiness whenever I play and win. Let's all keep winning my friends in a new-found combination. I don't like the so-called experienced people trying to come up with their choices even before acceptances are out and trying to gain some cheap attention. It's after all money, and so let's value others money too before we declare our selections.

Touch of great is no doubt good here. But Jockey Aleemuddin is an apprentice without whip. I am yet too see a top weighted horse winning 1400m without whip. 

Raise a buck will get a decent place.

6(12) Sapient - Though promoted ,last time won under wet conditions by 8.75 L with Jockey looking back and without being whipped ( except once) .

So should win today also atleast by 1L..

 E/W is safe bet since it's not a fav and will get good odds.

My bet in terms of peti will be place or win depending on odds.

If some horse becomes fav and later  raise in odds abnormally don't play at Mysore .

I've been considering Horse No. 7, Country's Fire, for the first race as my next best choice after No. 5, Island Lass. However, I've decided to go with No. 5, Island Lass. In addition to that, I will place a bet of 5,000 on Horse No. 7 . Let's see how it goes

After seeing some support for the same horse, which was also on my radar, I just can't resist anymore. 

In second race #9 furious fun will be fancied by the connections strongly as per my feeling, distance suits, gate 1, speedy, stooped down to very low weights, should be tried.

I noticed that you’re very confident about the chances of horse number 10, Arikattu, in the second race and suggested that people should take a chance on it to win or shp. While I can see that you believe strongly in number 10, I just wanted to share my thoughts. I still think that horse number 7, Hasting Sunrise, has a chance to place, but I have a feeling that number 10 may not finish in the top positions; I think it might only place or possibly be left out altogether( board out ).

I want to emphasize that it's risky to place so much trust in number 10 to win or shp. While it’s great to have predictions, suggesting that others ( people ) bet on it can lead to potential losses. My own predictions might not always succeed, but I try to be cautious and never claim that others should bet a certain way...i just give my predictions.

On Derby Day, I challenged the predictions for race no 5(Five star Shipping million ) of one person's write up......which was horse no 3 cigar galaxy which was one of the top favorites, and I indicated that it will never win & I took horses number 1 & number 2 would perform better than cigar galaxy & I ended up betting 1,000 to win and 500 to shp on the first and second horses (both )and the results reflected that decision and that's the reason i said other day I had decent profit though 3 races were flop... because no 1 which won it was 185 at tote and no 2 at 83 rupees both i played win 1k shp 500

   This horse has been impressive in recent track workouts, especially completing 1000m in 1:09 on 12/07. It carries just 50.5kg in Class I, giving it a major advantage and demonstrating strong performance at this level, primed to strike.

6. **Confident Game (1)** - The track is outstanding. Completed 1000m in 1:06 and has consistently shown solid seasonal form. It finished 5th  to Decacorn last start by a narrow margin and previously 3rd to Sea The Sun, the top weight, which is justified by its rating and fitness. Win/Good Place.

Today’s races at Bangalore were fantastic for me. Out of 8 races, three did not perform as expected, but I still made a decent profit because I played each way. I don’t fear the odds; if a horse enters my radar and meets my selections, I go each way—that’s my strategy.
