Race Professor never said he encashed money in the last race. Pls don't read between the lines. What he said earlier was that he punched his tickets even before the races started and left for office or his workplace. Indiarace.com also published the last race result for some time showing the favourite won and only later it changed the page as 'null ane void'.  For someone who was not in the racecourse, it would have given the impression that his horse had won and he also happily posted his views. Maybe, only later when he went to the course to encash the money that he came to know that the race was gone which he had clearly said in a subsequent post as "Last race : swahaaaaa". Try to read all the posts and then comment, kindly don't jump the gun like many others do here. Thank you

Yes, I felt the same way. I might have avoided a few races, and my blunder was not playing more shp bets in race 8. Just yesterday, with the snowfal loosing the board, didn’t even finish in the top four.. I should have placed another 2,000 on shp placing betting, as it was a great day.. 

However, I still have to analyze the races at Pune now. From the last race, I learned a lot about my mistakes. I always believe that failures in a particular race or day are not truly failures; they provide valuable data to improve my strategy for the next time.

Today, I feel confident about my selections for the Bangalore races. I take into account the horse's condition, medical history, previous performances, any incidents, their positions until the bend, what happened in the final furlong, and even the penetrometer readings from previous races. All of this helps me come up with my final selections.

From now on, I will focus on selecting one horse per race, and only consider a second horse if I feel confident about its chances for a good place.

I mentioned after the 8th race that I left, taking tickets for the 9th race. When I do this, I check the Bet India website for live results, as they provide the first live updates. It showed the results as 7 and 3, with my horse, number 3 (Midnight Express), winning in the show position. I was super excited and posted about it. However, when I refreshed the website, the odds for the show and place bets on horse 3 were no longer visible. I then called the Turf Club and learned that some gate did not open during the race, so they decided to cancel the results. And however I have won in last race so I posted comment of my yesterday stakes before I know it was cancel as I was out at that time

Really like your simplicity and honesty in reporting what happened to you during Pune races yesterday as it is and how you managed to come out 'unscathed'. That the last race, where you had huge stakes on offer, was declared 'null and void' is an altogether different story and we must be prepared for such incidents as part of this lovely game.

I believe from your narration that despite trying our best to control nerves, we somehow get enticed and gift our money to the bookies in the eleventh hour temptation. From your explanation, I found a few races could have been avoided from your side so that you were better placed to play a little more of SHP on that 38/100 paise horse so that you could have gone home with good profit. Still, given your firmness and the tremendous confidence to bounce back, I believe you will be able to do well in Pune from the coming week onwards. Little more restraint from our side is essential. What’s the use, Khan Bhai? I was getting ready for the last race, took tickets and left after 8th race ...excited because I had placed my bets on horse number 3, Midnight Express. As I refreshed the website for the results, I was thrilled to see that number 3 had won. I even stopped my car to share the news in the comments. However, when they didn't provide any winning odds and I called the Turf Club, I received the heartbreaking news that the race was canceled.

LAST RACE NULL AND VOID

Excellently played Race Professor, even coming out of racecourse with a small margin of profit is enough to bring a smile on our punters,as we don' t play here for money only,but we love horse racing, the jockeys, the trainers and the whole environment . 

I will conduct a detailed analysis of the Bangalore races tomorrow and select one horse to bet on in each race. I plan to invest ?5,000 each way for every race, which should be sufficient. If a horse has good place odds of more than 15, that will be fair enough; otherwise, I will only place win or shp bets. Good luck, everyone! Have a wonderful evening enjoying some hot beverages.

What a dramatic day overall for me...

In the 1st race, I lost ?10,000. Then I decided to just stick to my initial selections. In the 2nd race, I played only Samson lost ?5,000.

The 3rd and 4th races were average nothing major but I was still around ?10,000 down, more or less.

In the 5th race, I played Zip Along for the win (won ?4,000) and SHP (lost ?1,000), so it was around a ?2,000 loss overall.

By then, I was still down around ?12,000.

Then came the 6th race another ?10,000 loss bringing my total loss to approximately ?22,000.

But the biggest blow was Snowfall—I placed ?10,000 to win/SHP, and it didn’t even finish in the top five. That took my total loss to about ?32,000.

That’s when I realized... if a strong contender like Snowfall fails so badly, there’s no point backing Challenge Accepted in the next.

And here’s where the turning point came: I played ?5,000 SHP on Challenge Accepted, thinking that no matter who wins, it should at least place. But I missed a golden opportunity by not backing horse no. 8, Wind Dancer, for the win.

I actually had a gut feeling that Wind Dancer was the only real challenger to Challenge Accepted. I had even written this in my predictions and had it in mind but after the Snowfall loss, I just didn’t have the confidence to take the risk. That play helped me recover, and by then my losses were nearly nullified no profit, no loss, almost even.

Then came the real money-making race the last race. Fourth Wing was my second choice, but there was no point trusting favourites anymore. So I went back to my first opinion Midnight Express (No. 3). I played it each way: ?1,000 win, ?1,000 SHP, and ?8,000 place (on that one horse). Even though Fourth Wing won, I was happy with my result.

After all that hustle, I can finally end the day with one word: profit. Not a big one, not even a decent one but still, profit.

Guys, honestly, it felt like a movie today so many ups and downs.

1-7 LIGHTENING MCQUEEN - Ignore the last run in a term race, prior run a good 4th over 1200m 1:11:72 with SJ Sunil in the saddle. Now Narredu combination will perform to take the first race of the season.

2-1 PURPLE MARTINI - Consistent in last three runs over 1200m. Should win at longer odds with Nirmal Jodha in the saddle in this lowest category race.

3-7 STAR IMPACT - Still a maiden after 12 starts. Last run was good in lowest cat race over 1200m carrying top weight 1:11:97. Now going in higher class with weight advantage. Should win from 1 FABLE.

4-3 BE MAGICAL - Ignore the last run werein interferred. Prior a good 2nd over 1200m 1:10:56 and a winner over 1000m 58:33. Neeraj Ruia combination, might win this one.

5-2 TAABIR - Still a maiden after six starts. Now should come out of maiden ranks giving an apprentice Sonu Chouhan his first win.

6-8 MERLET - Consistent in last three term races, 3-2-3 over 1200m. A Raj in the saddle this time should come out of maiden ranks. 5 BETWEEN LANDS - By Phoenix Tower. just one run a close 6th over 1200m with SJ Sunil in the saddle. Again Narredu combination will be a safe place bet.

From today real monsoon season is beginning. Let's hope the racing is done on merit not on individual choices. What happened in Mysore is beyond any genuine punters imagination. In books they showing Good races but if you look at the book n than say than its just like "Jo laga woh gaya" means all the horses won because owners trainers and adminstration have backed them. Its wrong ...I don't say don't do tricky things but atleast have courtesy to put a genuine challenge. 

I hope pune Hyderabad and Kolkata will justify the book . Mysore its high time now change your way of racing otherwise the day is not far when punters will stop going to your races. Just remember because of scarcity of racing activities punters went to your races but now punters have choice. So make sure you create good atmosphere and challenging one.

SNOWFALL (1) has been working extremely well and appears in good shape, but the top weight raises concerns about whether it can see out the trip. In contrast, PRIDE'S PRINCE (9) is also showing strong track work, comes in at bottom weight, and looks more likely to handle the distance comfortably.

Bangalore, Mysore and Now Pune races . It's taking a toll on the punters and those who  genuinely study and post.

My hats off to those who study all races and post. Pre handicapping ,Race professor, Abay pune,  Lord beyer King of hearts ,Race book, Race bro ,Anushree ,etc etc ( others kindly excuse this is all I can remember right now)

It's practically impossible to study all races and find a winner. It needs hours and hours of study. 

After Bangalore and Mysore race Season  ends 

May be one can concentrate more at Pune races where each race has more than 10 horses and race is really competitive unlike other centers.

I have decided strictly 2 races at most with 100%effort.

But may skip  Pune for a month. The winners are easy to identify after a couple of runs of each horse.

But having put in lot of effort for first day race I want to post just 2 race selections.

7(9) PRIDES PRIINCE- A Vetran of 1600m and today being 1400m to run and at lowest possible wt of 49 kg  should WIN. Great track work also.

Imtiaz sait has 3 horses in this race and 2 others are  not ready from their track work. 

Snow fall carrying 62.50 kg and 1400 m to go will find it difficult. May want to reduce wt for next race.

It's my opinion. Choose your selection as you feel.

9(7) FOURTH WING-Trevor has never lost a race on this .loosing to a whipless jockey who is on Timeless vision is a Shame.

Let's accept. It's tough on 1st race day of race. 

Avoid 1st month. If you really have to play ,play  small amounts you can afford to loose without affecting your  life and that of your  family.

Welcome to gruelling 3 months of races.

Hi Sri iyer play with care on lord Murphy timings dropped badly in recent races and at track workout also beaten from low rating horses gaint gold and lucio with good lengths taking average +1.80 seconds extra where as other in this race at have way diffrence ....re evaluate and it playing play with lot of care always back position untill bend and at final furlong its fading....when you said one horse in race 3 then you got my attention..rest all the best

7. PRIDES PASSION . Running with lowest handicap in higher set. A Prakash should show his Bangalore form, without going wide. Trainer should instriuct him.

8. WIND DANCER .. Prepared nicely. N Bhosale should strike.

All these are my choices and I am going to play all these 3 horses with 1k each, If the odds for places are good, then I will play place only.

Windborne has shown strong recent form, including a win with a time of 1:00.67. The track work has been solid, and the horse appears fit. With a consistent sprint profile and clean gear, Windborne is the one to beat. Additionally, the draw position is an advantage for this distance.

(3) ADONIS 

Upsetter( keep an eye )

Adonis comes in fit and fresh, having clocked a sharp 600m in 40 seconds during its latest gallop, showcasing good closing speed. The only concern is that Adonis is wearing steel shoes, which could impact performance late in the race. If the horse gets the right cover and timing, it can pose a strong challenge check odds and play ....

Comes in with consistent recent runs and solid  times. Trackwork has been sharp (800m in 0.51s), showing fitness and intent and no major negatives,  looks set to run a bold race. Strong winning chance.

 Maintains consistent form and has shown excellent track movement (800m in 0.49s on 14 July). Light weight with jockey allowance. Though a win may still be a challenge, a live threat for toppers and could surprise if pace suits. ( place )

A consistent and genuine runner who has performed well in Class IV company over this trip. It has solid timings close to the winner in past 3 runs and is holding form. Recent track work with Sandesh and moving freely and looks race-ready. Strong horse.

Has run steadily over extended trips and now drops to 1400m, which suits. Recent runs show he's maintaining decent timing and finishing within striking distance. Track work indicates in good shape, and with Ajinkya aboard, he’s a solid place prospect with a fighting chance.

Bee Magical is in top racing shape, having clocked sharp and consistent times in recent track work…shown strong finishing ability in previous races over this trip. With Neeraj Rawal aboard and form on its side, looks primed for a big run.

Already has solid race experience and has performed well in multiple runs over this trip…fast times in the past and continues to maintain good form in the workouts. Although edged out in last track gallop, remains a strong contender for the placings.

(1) Snowfall( win / shp) 

Snowfall has been working brilliantly on the track and looks in peak condition ahead of this run. Clocked a strong 1200m in 1:18 with sharp splits (600m in 37s), showing great fitness and movement. recent work has been consistent, smooth, and  been stretching out well. Based on track work alone, stands out as the leading contender

( 9) Pride’s Prince

This improving 5-year-old has caught the eye in workouts. a quick 800m in 50s and 600m in 37s, finishing gallops strongly. Comments like “Impressed” and “Good display” suggest coming into form at the right time. Should be competitive and is definitely in the placings mix based on his work.

Analysis:A fight is expected Between Fable & North bound, former having edge to win here in the hands of jockey Sandesh. North bound will surely be in top two. Goldiva & Moonlight kiss are place prospects.

Analysis:The above mentioned four 3y olds must be the front liners of which the first two were impressive winners. The first named is good on timings hence preferred for win.

Analysis:Merlet(half sister to Serrano )& Touch of mystic(half sister to snow fall) both the fillies are good type former having run experience in the million races(all its runs are million races) is preferred to win against Touch of mystic

Analysis:Snow fall due to slow start could not do well last time, very impressive on tracks, should win here in the hands of jockey Trevor. Prides prince & Christophany may fight for minor placings. Running at feather weight Thalaasa bears watching.

Analysis: Challenge accepted is only 3y old young in the field, after running with classic contenders, won fluently over Flaming sword at Bangalore who was subsequent winner, now running in class 4,  has a prime chance to win in this field .Okinayume, wind dancer, pure, endurance all have to fight for minor placings. 

9 race: 7.Fourth wing, 1. Timeless vision 5.Ghirardheli, 3.Midnight express

Analysis:Fourth wing & Timeless vision are closely matched on timing. Former having won in two terms races, first time running in open class 3, has bit edge to win here. Timeless vision will not go down with out a fight. Ghirardheli & Midnight express may fight for 3rd slot
