After losing to Lady Invictus, there’s no point in betting on the favorite again. DFY and Horse No. 6 were strong contenders, but I can't even place a shp bet because my friend told me there aren’t any good odds for that. I saved myself 12k, but Star Admiral didn’t perform well losing 10k Overall, I still ended up losing some lose for Saturday and Sunday  Regardless, congratulations to everyone who won, and my condolences to those who lost, as it was a rough evening for fans of the favorites.

Hi Saurik, thanks for making me feel lighter, with your post. I was feeling a bit off, based on the results today, and the thought nagging me that you might have followed me, and found yourself in the same mess as I was in. Didn't have a winner till the Golden Thunder race. Left with just 500 bucks, thought I'd move out, but then felt that 2&5 no doubt has ditched me all along, but it might oblige in that race, but playing Dyf wouldn't fetch me anything, and also there was number support for 5, as it had moved from 4th place to 2nd place, then prior to this race, once again went 4th, and usually such a movement means that the number is strong, so, hoping against hope, backed 200 bucks on 5 @ 18/1, and took a tanala of 2/5--2/5--4/6, five tkts. Truly, power of numbers, from being in a nowhere situation, picked over 7000 bucks in that race. Was quite tempted to play 2 in the last race, but as a matter of principle, if I recover my losses in the penultimate race I skip the last race. While picking my winnings, was just hoping that you notice the 5-2 combination and play Golden Thunder, because that would have surely recovered your losses, but I'm glad you recovered in the previous race itself.

@ Larry  played eternal glory and made my day, thanks a lot. I had a bet on that particular race as my selection and yours is same eternal glory. I could not bet on dyf and agera  as the odds were not ok for me. 

You missed gold today as you have mentioned 2 5 and 7 are stong, golden thunder was 5 with gate2, I gave a lot of thot but stopped myself from betting on it.

And now, this is what I call beauty! What a great start today, with an additional 10k tapping for win shp, following yesterday's 10k as well. Winfield performed amazingly and really blew the competition away; I loved the video! I hope Lady Invictus and Ranquelino can do the same for me. Fingers crossed! Again, what a beauty!

I came across a request by Saurik, asking me to post my choices, and today it's purely because of him that I'm spending some time writing this. Hope my choices are good enough, and if he follows me, my choices make his day, and mine too.

Race 1   5 Continues

Continues has good pedigree numbers, but, no wins in 7 runs is quite baffling, however, the choice of jockeys for all these races, save one, were't too good too. Today, with change of equipment, should shed it's maiden status comfortably.

Race 2    7 Pursuit of Wealth

It's just two that comes into contention, namely Days Date and Pursuit of Wealth. No whip jockey on the former makes me confident about POW, who is also running with a change of equipment, and as compared to the rest of the field, has better track work

Race 3    2 Annabelle

Change of equipment, and the fact that jockey riding has given her three tracks makes me confident on this one.

Race 4    4 Eternal Glory

Toss up between Eternal Glory and Blind Faith, both having good pedigree numbers, however, Eternal Glory, having won a million race at the same course, and being a close second in a million race at Mysore, and with better tracks as compared to the latter, I'd be going with Eternal Glory.

Race 5    2 Lady Invictus

Prime Abbess, having run in class II was the only other contender I was studying here, however, Lady Invictus is a C&D (Course & Distance) winner 4 times, and even though the last two runs were in 6yo company, I feel that she should be victorious.

Race 6    2 Dyf

C&D winner, that's all I can say. I'm not too good reading a long distance race, but choosing this one purely based on the fact that the numbers 2/7&5 are strong today, and Dyf has card 2 and draw 5. You all would have noticed that almost all my choices, except for race 4 have my choices as 2/7.

Toss up between Agera and Super Kind, but once again Agera is card2 draw5, hence that happens to be my first choice.
