how can you say Dyf will run Indian St.Leger it's already 6 yr old and Indian St. leger will be run only for 4 yr olds, are you really race follower?

Indian St. Leger is for 4yo horses only. So horses like Zuccaro, Dyf and other older horses cannot run. Maybe track conditions suited winner yesterday but there have been many rain affected Indian St. Legers. Older horses are not expected to improve much but 4yos can.

I am suprised that some posters who always talk of pedigree numbers neglected Golden Thunder. He had best dosage index for distance.

Though DYF ran a good race i think it  has started loosing the zest for racing.I dont think it van win again sny graded races .Regarding golden thunder it relished the underfoot condition. ..I dont think it can repeat.Most notable is in india very few staying horses are bred nowadays.Mostly breeders  produce lightning fast horses because there too many races for short distances. Some centres struggling to put 1600 meters race ..Just find out how many races were allotted for 2000 mtrs and beyond  in bangalore current seasonand past.There end the story.

No one can take the credit away from the winning horse but mark my word this horse will never be in first five of any classic next 5 years... The game was set to fool punters 

GOLDEN will not be sighted even for place i can give it in writing.It was just a flash in pan run, underfoot condition and mis judgement of pace by TREVOR.Next when they meet GOLDEN wont be even in the fight

May be one can attribute the underfoot conditions for the joint favourites defeat. The another reason is stakes being low as poor as 14 lakhs for the winner.

Dyf will definitely rebound. 

Pune has its own charms.

Trust me, Golden Thunder will face many challengers better than Ranquelino.

Further Pune track will not be underfoot.

You are right. 'Golden Thunder', eith the Bangalore st. Leger run and win experience, looks like all set to claim the Indian St. Leger too.

How confident was trainer Karthik Ganapathy who, during the post-race interview said that his owner wanted to win either the Maharaja's Cup or Bangalore St. Leger and Karthik decided to give him this race.

One rhing we punters never realise is every horse has its time in racing and so are 'Dyf' and 'Ranquelino'.
