Hates off to ( legend & pure handicapping) It was a great start to the day, although the rain disrupted things  I couldn’t manage to play on Hyderabad due to work commitments. Still, what a day it turned out to be!

I didn't get to do a deep dive, just some basic analysis, but I followed The (Legend) the leader of the post  in Race 1. I also did a bit of my own checking, and what a horse that was! Played ?10k each way and it passed no( 11) along with pure handicapping predictions even he mentioned side bet..i did not played his main bet horse because it was having steel shoes.

Then again, trusted The Legend in Race 2nd for SHP and THP — ?7k and ?3k respectively  and  clicked ( but withdrawal at no 5) got small tiny lose ...I want some not in favourite so followed again legend 

And then came the Pure Handicapping deep dive analyst what a prediction on No. 7 in Race 3! Read the notes given by him on bundle of charm and checked and loved it..each way 10k

Honestly, you both did 90% of the hard work  I just added my 10% analysis.

I usually skip the initial few races of the season, and the max I do is just punch a small JP, for a little bit of excitement while working. Having checked the card for today, feel quite strong on the choices for the JP legs, hence taking the liberty of posting on the very first day, which I usually don't do.

Race 3 Initial toss up was between Impressive Annie and Kerry Gold. KG has change of equipment, and is also a debut winner, however, tracks aren't impressive, whereas IA has shown excellent track work, hence I opt for IMPRESSIVE ANNIE 

Race 4

VICTORIA CROSS was a hot on-money favorite in his 2nd life time run, however, had interference then, and also in the subsequent race at Bangalore, then, won the next race, also, is the only 3yo in the field.

Race 5

DUBAI PRINCESS stands tall in this field for me.

Race 6

NATURAL GRACE, a 1200m specialist is back to her favourite distance, should have no issues tackling this field.

Race 7

Between LIGHT THE WORLD and Madras Cheque I prefer the former.

So my JP today starts with 4, ends with 4, with three 3s acting as the burger for my hamburger.

Will punch 15 tickets of 4-3-3-3-4 and five tickets for 4-3-3-3-6. Nothing more for the day.

1-2 PAULITE WARRIOR - Just first recent run in bangalore and now brought to kolkata. The only 3yr old in the race + running in lowest category with J Arul in the saddle who is retained. 3 LAHINA is a very safe place bet.

2-5 ZALIA - First run 3rd in january over 1100m 1:7:02 with Yash in the saddle. Now with Kolkata champion jockey R Vaibhav in the saddle will be winning.

5-2 KINGS RETREAT - Might run well over this shorter distance of 1200m with R Vaibhav in the saddle. 3 DUBAI PRINCESS is the only danger with TP in the saddle.

6-7 CAT WHISKERS - First run in Kolkata moved from bangalore since last run in jan. Tracking well might go well with Hasib in the saddle.

7-5 TRUE FAITH - Coming back to kolkata after a bangalore run with an apprentice on board over 1400m. Now going with Arul JH in the saddle.

SEA WATERS - R.Vaibhav should open the season by winning with steel shoes last run Brust it's blood vessels during the race and To be passed fit and if you see the reply last run the shadow roll nose band used got displaced during the race for which the trainer was fined 5000 for using an unserviceable equipment and 11. KINDRED SPIRIT - should manage a decent place with bottom weight

5. ZALIA - R.Vaibhav should get back to back win if he misses in the first race he has to get this for sure and take over the Hot favourite 1. CORTADO his stable mate and Three horses are from Aashay Doctor so be cautious

BUNDLE OF CHARM - with the positive change in shoes should take over Trevor and Neeraj in a close finish last run also ran in aluminium shoes but the trainer stated Steel for which he was fined 1000/- for running his charge in shoes other than those declared. Also the rider lodged an objection for placing 4th by the judge against Trevor rider of Sabar placed 3rd but the result remained same and overruled and 3. SEA OF CHARM - Double Demotion is the horse to keep on eye at longer odds

9. JEAN LAFETTE - A 7 year old and with the benefit of runs holds better chances in this race have to take over 6. FALCONBRIDGE - one of the strong contenders in this field

KING'S RETREAT - Will be my Day's Best one horse for the day last was a impressive third in a close call and the reason behind losing this race was start loss and lost his whip in the final 100 meters this time with a benefit of a gate practice is well prepared to attempt a start to finish mission and the only horse to beat and take revenge on his previous race winner 6. RAFFAELLO who is trying for his Hatrick win same jockey is retained for both the horses and am sure both of them will put up a speedy race I am feeling punters will be searching for Dubai princess ridden by Trevor

CAT WHISKERS - last run ridden by Akshay Kumar was fined 2000/- for dropping hands in the last 150 meters for no apparent reason and because of Receiving severe interference all though the race he couldn't do well I really don't know how Hasib Alam will handle this time so 1. MATHANGI is the best backup in this race won comfortably even after Brusting his blood vessels medically passed fit hope to see a good come back
