DASHING CHARM - back to back Trainer Jockey combination will hold good last run won comfortably in a start to finish mission still Ashhad Asbar was fined 5000/- for dropping his hands much before passing the winning post the horse has more power but did not show his full ability so this time he may prove it again and put up another winning gallop the only horse which can beat him is 6.MEXICAN WAVE - last run came with the powerful gallop flying outside and won in a close finish by neck to PETALUMA this time with 2.5kg up can manage to be in top three

Race 1 – Star of Opera (10)

She’s been flying under the radar but is peaking at the right time. Recent trackwork has been excellent—clocked 800m in 1.00, 1.01, and 1.02, plus a sharp 1000m gallop in 1.16. Finished with Decoy and worked well with strong galloping partners like NRI High Power – a clear sign of fitness and readiness. Draw 6 is ideal for her late-finishing style, offering cover and space to launch. Trainer Netto is known for targeting races, and this looks like the day she’s been aimed at. With consistent pace, strong workouts, and an under-the-radar profile, she shapes up as a strong Each-Way.

Note: Gusto’s Boy will be on board and Whistle Down is likely to be on board too, though in my radar it should be board out. Nevertheless, Star of Opera is a good each-way.

A solid filly who has been knocking on the door. Showed tremendous improvement over her last two runs—notably her last start in a similar 1100m Class IV where she won in 1-07.85. Prior to that, finished close to Calabasas over 1200m in maiden company, confirming talent.

Trackwork since mid-July has been outstanding—clocking sub-58s in 800m gallops on four consecutive occasions, indicating peak fitness. Final workout on 2nd August was sharp (800m in 0.58, 600/43), signaling readiness. Retains rider Ashhad Asbar who knows her well. Despite a slight weight rise, she appears to have matured and is well-tuned for this. Should be right there at the finish.

Stands out as the likely winner based on a combination of consistent race performances, tactical draw, and outstanding trackwork. Her latest workouts have been impressive—clocking 800m in 0.58s twice and 600m in 43s—signaling peak fitness and readiness to strike. With top jockey Akshay Kumar booked, who excels in hands-and-heels riding, and drawn to get a clear mid-pack sit, she shapes as the most reliable and well-prepared runner in the field. Everything points to this being her winning day.

Also clocked 1.02 on 31/07 without being extended, confirming he’s holding peak condition.

Carries 58.5 kg today—a notable 3 kg relief from his last run on 19 Jan where he ran a strong 4th over 1400m in 1-29.21 while lugging 61.5 kg. That effort was among his best, and he appears to have strengthened. Having consistently run in longer races (1600m–2000m), the cut back to 1400m today seems ideal. With fitness, form, and weight in his favour, Balahaka is a solid Win/Place candidate in this low-rated field.

With a solid track record under regular jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar, and recent trackwork showing him clocking 0.59s over 800m with excellent splits (600/44, 400/28.5), he looks fit, seasoned, and primed.

On the track work front, he’s simply been electric: consistent sub-1:00 breezes over 800m, closing his final 400m in under 30 seconds repeatedly—a sign of a horse that’s both fit and sharp. In his 31st July gallop (800m in 0.57s), he outmoved even seasoned horses and looked in peak racing condition.

HI , HTians i wanted to share a betting strategy so please give yourself a minute and read it and please share your views on it.

W stands for win and C stands for cover bet on win. Now for example first race if my investment is 2k then it will be 10w 1500 & 11w 500 and if the cover bet is too favourite in odds then it should be 1k each on win and i suggest you guys also to always play cover bets as well and not blindly sure shotly playing like the bank of england on a single horse for win and then later realising that your second choice horse came and won and you go bla blaa on it !! End of the day horses are animals and this is racing there is nothing like certainity and anything can happen you guys already know this So some bugs on cover bet atleast that amount which will save your investment money and also knowing to skip bad races like class5&4 and wide open races because nobody can win by playing every race most of the times so be selective and smart to play your second horse choice as well. Now i suddenly remembered this race where my investment was 5k and i had played on Arkadian 4k win in 16/10 odds and my second choice horse was Golden thunder which was at 10/1 and played 1k win as cover and rest you know what happened so there are many more like this which has saved my ass a lot of times , So this is my just a view rest is upto you if you like it apply it if not certainly you are rich.

RACE 1 : Hrs no 7 ( *GUSTO BABY*) came up well and finish close 3rd last run, still a maiden after 5 outing,   positive switch in saddle now, if in galloping mood can clear her maiden tag today in a no-whip race. 

RACE 2 : Hrs no 3 ( *DASHING CHARM*) well bred speedy customer blew the field last run and clear her maiden in style, now in handicap race, retains winning form and same rider is repeating again, will be in pillar to post mission again today. 

Hrs no 1 ( *DUBAI TOUCH*) can spoil the party, keep an eye.

RACE 3 : Hrs no 9 ( *TURIYA*) honest galloper always runs on board, now positive switch in saddle, working well in morning trackwork, has got good chance to clear her maiden tag today.

Hrs no 7 ( *INFINIA*) should not go down easily. 

RACE 4 : Hrs no 3 ( *GOLDEN INZIO*) ignor last non job run over 6 furlongs, 1.5 kg claimer jockey gets the mount with a favorable draw, the extended trip will suit him and will run a forward race today.

1-7 GUSTO'S BABY - After couple of bangalore runs, the hyderabad recent run 3rd over 1100m 1:8:13 with Afroz in the saddle. Now with Akshay in the saddle and going over 1200m, can be an easy win.

2-1 DUBAI TOUCH - After couple of bangalore runs, the hyderabad recent run 2nd over 1100m 1:7:12 with Shamaz Sherif in the saddle. Now with Neeraj Rawal  in the saddle and going over 1200m can be the BEST BET of the day.

3-11 TURIYA - Last season couple of runs in term races over 1200m 3rd in both. Booking of Akshay is very positive, going over 1200m in a no whip maiden race. Akshay will have a double with Gustos Baby.
