Kings best: all were sleeping at the start. When did I last seen a horse take a 15-16 length advantage over the 1400m. LAGADS horse did that once but that was a 2000m race. In short races u don't give a long gap.

One peti master bet three petis on C Chevalier. I was more than happy meant the bookies could accommodate my request to get more on the eventual winner.

Rajinder… what unethical… arrey yaar, I’m done with this, but since you asked politely, I’m informing you. Check from Derby day till today. You’re curious, so do your homework — never have I lost big when I play 3 horses. If I have a small loss, I cover it by playing the full race card once a week. That’s my strategy.

Earlier, what I used to play I can’t explain, so check from Bangalore Derby till now. I start with one horse; if I lose, I go for 3 bets. Even if there are losses, I recover by playing the full race. For me, horse racing is like a project — just like before giving a quotation to a client, I check every detail. When I spend this much time, do you expect me to play 2–3k? I rotate my money, not take big losses. Even if I have a decent loss, I recover. If I kept losing continuously, obviously I wouldn’t bet high — that’s the answer to your question.

Anyway, I don’t want to drag this. I’m on vacation, no big debate. Just letting you know: today I played the 1st race full on No. 6 NP — almost no profit, no loss. I played 3k instead of 5k because the horse’s weight increased by 15 kg, but still played 3k SHP THP, and the favourite I backed won.

China Town: 3k win lost, 2k SHP lost, 2k THP won, place 10k won. Indian Temple: lost 3k. 6th race No. 2: lost 12k win, 3k SHP (small cover), and 5k lost on Ayushman No. 1. Still, nothing big — I have money to rotate, and one full race is enough for me to recover.

Now this has nothing to do with HT. If I win, it’s my money; if I lose, it’s my money. And by the way, where are your selections? Anyway, all fine, leave it. Bye now.

If you lose, next day in Pune, we will chase and not on the same day, as no more Races are framed in Hyderabad.

Race1 : Nothing much to choose from here, 1.KNIGHT REGENT seems to be past the post. If for any reason it falters there is absolutely none who can be termed as next best. Chances are that it would be at cramped odds, however, running at Hyderabad for the first time, that's the only 'if' factor. I don't bet cramped odds favorites individually so I will take this one as one of my choices in a roll bet, and, just to cover up that bet will play KR for SHP.

Just wanted to mention this, I rarely ever play SHP, however, recently when I had posted, Dark Crusader appreciated two of my choices, both came 2nd, and he had played SHP, and on reading his post checked the SHP dividends, they were about 35 and 75, and I realised that if a red hot favourite loses and comes 2nd it pays much much more than what a win bet might fetch even by betting 3 to 5 times more. 

Race2 : Ones considered were Gold Giver, Arabeska, and Peppi. There's no tracks for GG, and even though Peppi is a C&D winner, I opt for Arabeska, who showed tremendous improvement in the last race, winning comprehensively over 1400, being a front runner at the bend, and that suggests that it wouldn't be difficult to traverse another furlong.

Race3 : Ones considered were Torch Bearer, Arion One, and Gachchhatu. All three are tracking well, with TB's tracks being the best, however, GACHCHHATU has shown good improvement, as per timing, in life time second run, and that's a huge positive for me. Also, as per numbers for the day the combination of 8&6 is very strong. The roll bet I mentioned earlier would be for my choices in these three races. All my three choices have 6 as draw no., making a strong vertical force, so will be on the lookout for this no. or the lower no. 3 for remaining races.

Race4 : N R I ULTRAPOWER has had a good lung opener this season, and shapes up as another good bet for me, so will have another 4-way roll bet including this one, and I'll take this roll bet because I have draw 3 here, which I mentioned earlier.

Race5 : Just two come into consideration for me, that's PERCEPTION and Kantha, however, the latter hasn't had a run benefit hence Perception is my choice here. Dino is being tipped as first choice by both BOL and IR, however I can't figure out what they've seen in Dino, in fact it is my day's best lay bet, if it opens up as favourite.

Race6  : Can't figure out this race, however Cherie Chevalier has good numbers, as the combination of 2/7&4 is also strong today.

Race7 : Can't point a finger at any one choice here, many come into contention, however, DIABLO, I feel, is the one who should triumph here.

The first named is well bred(a well suited to mile trip) ran Good third to Baychimo in its last run at Bangalore, well prepared, should win this time. The other two may fight for minor placings

3y old young in the field , fluent winner over 7f as on money fav, earlier ran behind classic contenders in million races, retains form can repeat the show, none other in the field are in form.

3 race:open race, except for 2,4,5 others are running after more than 6 months, hence fitness not known. Cannot depend on breed alone. Better to skip

4 race:7.NRI ultra power, 1.China Town, 2.Kings best 

Except for 7,1,2 others have no form. NRI ultra power was late finishing 2nd to Get lucky in its last run over identical distance, very impressive on tracks, should win from other two 

5 race: 6.Total control, 5.Amboseli, 1.Eminency

Same as above race except for few horses like above, others have no form. The first named Total control looks better than others. On jockey merits Amboseli may be considered. Eminency may find a place considering its last run.

6 race:2.Cherie Chevalier, 3.Miss smiley angel, 4.Your unforgettable 

The feature event of the day. Golconda juvenile million, small field of 4 horses. 2. Cherie Chevalier looks best of the four on timing. 3. Your unforgettable

La Fleuriere (6) shapes as the potential horse-best contender in this race based on her recent runner-up finish and a strong piece of trackwork suggesting readiness. After a couple of disappointing efforts, where she finished well beaten, she showed sharp improvement on 23 February, finishing 2nd over 1200m, beaten close small lengths with a respectable final time of 1-15.51, indicating progress. Her gear remains steady with a tongue strap (TS) on, and she now returns after a break, which appears well-utilized based on her latest trackwork. indicating forward condition and fitness. and carrying a lightweight 54.5kg, she gets an advantage in early positioning. While the rider Abhay Singh is not from the top tier, he is familiar with her and can utilize the draw effectively. With a recent runner-up effort, favourable draw, and positive trackwork, La Fleuriere presents herself as a genuine place contender, and could even surprise if the pace suits her late kick.

China Town (1) Last time, I had done a detailed analysis, and thank God china town running again this week. I played this horse last time and gave a good run, coming from the back to finish a close 4th. No changes now, just 0.5 kg less. Checked in detail — with this current bunch, china town should be fighting in the field. Very, very good. A solid each-way bet.

Indian Temple (4) Also, for some solid reasons, I'm placing a small SHP and THP bet on Indian Temple (4) — 1.5k SHP and 1.5k THP. Though the track work isn’t flashy and 8 years old, still worth a shot.

Race 6

Made this selection based on 80% track work and 20% previous performance class, timings etc.( why went more on track is another big reason )

Cherie Chevalier (2) has emerged as the most promising winner candidate based on a series of impressive and steadily improving track workouts. Recent gallops clearly indicate that it has peaked at the right time. After clocking moderate times earlier in July (800m in 1.01), delivered a blistering 800m in 0.58 (-2) on 07/08, backed by a sharp 600m split of 44 seconds. This performance was further highlighted by the remark “moved attractively”, showing that not only was the timing exceptional, but movement was fluent and unforced. Also consistently paired in track work with in-form horses like Diablo and Star Forever, reinforcing competitive edge. The pattern of workouts...starting average and then progressing rapidly indicates a well-timed training strategy, with final gallop showing that race-ready and loaded with fitness. Importantly, final spurt suggests likely to finish strongly under race conditions, giving a significant edge over the field.

Investment: 15k– checking odds; shoot; if too hot favourite, or some cover SHP( should dominate madly ) 

Ayushman(1) on the other hand, shows the profile of a steady and consistent horse who is ideally suited to run into the minor placings second or third. While not delivering explosive timings like Cherie Chevalier...Ayushman has remained consistent around the 1.01 mark for 800m over multiple gallops (08/07 and 05/08), with closing 600m splits in the range of 45–46 and final 400m in 30 seconds. These are solid timings that show he’s fit and working within himself. What adds value to his profile is that he has regularly paired in track work with faster horses like Ashoka (0.57) and Decoy and kept pace with them, which suggests he is maintaining his own form while being tested against higher benchmarks. Remarks such as “Good”, “Handy”, and “Impressive pair” reflect that he is going about his work honestly and shaping up as a reliable runner. Although not flashy, Ayushman is fit, balanced, and race-hardened through his multiple gallops. This kind of profile often translates well into a strong pace effort, particularly if the pace of the race allows him to settle and produce a late run.

1-1 KNIGHT REGENT - Ran an impressive 3rd nk/nk recently over 1600m in Bangalore. Now going over the same distance and AA in the saddle. Should be an easy winner.

2-4 ARABESKA - Won impressively by 4L over 1400m with AA in the saddle. Now going over 1600m with AA retained to ride. Should be an easy winner. Quick double for AA.

3-8 GACHCHATTU - Two runs 2 wins last season. An impressive winner beating Turiya who won well this season. The only 3yr old in the race. Should be able to complete hat trick with Neeraj in the saddle who rode last time.

4-7 NRI ULTRAPOWER - Ran an impressive 2nd recently over 1400m with Varun in the saddle who is retained and going over same distance. Should win this time.

5-2 PERCEPTION - An impressive 3rd over 1100m with G Naresh in the saddle behind Brilliant Lad. Same jockey who is taking the ride again and going over 1200m will suit. I am sure better than 1 EMINENCY who can place.

6-2 CHERIE CHEVALIER - An impressive winner over 1400m by 12L with Suraj in the saddle. Will again be an easy winner going over same distance with P Sai Kumar. It will be a one horse race.

7-1 DIABLO - An impressive 2nd recently over 1400m with P Sai Kumar in the saddle. Now going over 1200m in no whip race doesn't matter. Quick double for jockey.
