I understand if it's soft going then the timings defer , but good going if it's in Mumbai or Mysore the track works and timings are superior than the same track work at Hyderabad or any other centre for the same distance run , many times horses in Mumbai do beautiful track work say in 1000 meters and when they run in race they come they come off board , horses that do medium track work win by distance in comparison to the superior track work , it could be the same class or difference in class , bottom line,  racing has now become more gambling and set up rather than a game of Skill , there are a 1000s of experiences every punter or horse racing enthusiasts have experienced some won't even bother to tell as they know it's a waste of time , my Uncle who is a professional in horse racing would say the phrase ' it's a Mugs game ' some say it's a game of luck , I do play now days  online race's international and my picks would be random , mostly numerological numbers and believe me without any track work or any information about the horse pedigree or the runs I keep winning , for years I've tried my luck or both skill in racing over here but only burnt my fingers and learnt bitter lessons over losses rather than winning , and in the bargain I've lost so much that it's easy for me to tell how much over the years , but ever since international horse racing have started I'm beginning a new chapter on retreaving what ever I lost during the past years,  just in months , moreover racing cannot be compared in hey days early 1970s to late 2010 we had especially in Mumbai many foreigners coming to race in Mumbai in most cards some cards over 20 horses and that too the foreigners rides in each card would be three times an Indian would be riding , in those days Aslam , V Shinde , P Shroff  would dominate and keep winning at long odds all this 25 paisa 50 paisa or even money was far sighted,  these days it's just the opposite , the safe way to play Indian races is on information secretly given  by the bookies , Owners or Trainers and sometines the stable Boys , no amount of good track work , costly purchase , drop in weights or handicap or even world class Jockey could encourage you to wage your bet confidently on any horse over here , it's try your luck or get bruised , all said and done tomorrow Kolkatta races entices me to play the game again.

Also in my opinion horses in western India are much superior to Hyderabad and kolkatta horses...barring some exceptions..that's why also maybe timings are faster.

Main issue of the difference of time in all center is FALLS RAILS  they ate not set Gate as per the Falls Rails because  Distance  automatically increased  by 2/3/4/5 meter extra  it differs time Gate should  be set according  to the F/ Rails 

Bro it is the grass which makes the diffrence,penetrometer is for ground condition how good it is ,it is the grass which make the differene.

Ask that question to yourself and you won't waste time thinking it  it's all gambling now and any horse will win if the owners and trainers are ok 

HRC Monsoon Track is sand based turf while it's Winter Track is Tan bark based. Both have different times .

The same is the case with Pune which has a Monsoon Track and a normal track. The monsoon track in Pune generally has faster times.

I think its mentioned in official race card of Rwitc that 1200 mts race at Pune is actually 1180 mts. That's probably why 1200 mts races seem super fast at Pune. 

You will also find a similar difference in timing if u compare to Bangalore and Mysore. Mysore is faster compared to Bangalore. It all depends on the surface, incline & decline and the bends of the race course.

in pune races on monsoon track 1200 MTRS is not 12000 MTRS it is 1170 MTRS that's timing looks like fast

Hyderabad mansoon track is very different amongst all others, 

Magic mansoon  track ,even heavy rain can't down pour track that's why Hyderabad club conducts races even during heavy rains

Yesterday night there was rain over 4 to 5 hours heavy to heavy but today we witnessed races even favourites ruled 

The track not that easy that what it looks 

Outstation horses struggles to win at HYD monsoon track

Pune has a rising ground from 1400m to 1200m and then a descent from 1200m to 800m appprx.,as also harder turf, whereas Hyderabad is level and softer turf . Hence Pune avg tmgs are much faster upto 1200m ,but decline in comparision to longer races for further distances to Mumbai Hydderabad.

Heard that Hyderabad straight course is little bit inclined and timings does not match.

In the grass court of Wimbledon there are many legends who had won the tournament several times...... But failed to reach the quarter final in the clay court of Italian open....

In the Bangalore track works you will find a difference of several seconds in INNER sand and the OUTER sand....!!!

In the fomula1 race also you will find ..... A champion of a certain track struggles in another track....

In cricket Bangladesh is almost invincible in MIRPUR but the tigers become cats elsewhere....

It's all because of the tracks and pitches........!!!!!
