Snowfall was having a highest TFR of 136 , probability for win is more for Snowfall.

If you gone through the race it was sheer luck for snowfall.

1) Seige lost the whip at first 150 mtrs so travelled without whip through out.

2) Jade coming from a break and run green went outside and inside market king came obstacle inside rail. So not got gap and settled there itself.

3) Snow fall always comes from behind with weight  some kgs down all above points came into consideration.

It's important to never compare the results of a handicap race with those of a terms race for any horse.

In her first outing this season, Snowfall participated in a handicap race and, being the highest rated horse in the field, she had to concede weight all around, carrying 62.5 kg due to her top rating. In that race, she was giving away 1.5 kg to Market King. Her subsequent race was a graded event, and as you know, ratings for weight assignments in a terms race do not matter. After conceding weight in her last race, she was now receiving weight from the other horses, carrying only 54.5 kg. Market King, the common competitor in both races, was carrying 57.5 kg. This meant Snowfall had a 4.5 kg advantage over Market King, who finished third in their last encounter while Snowfall did not place.

Therefore, it was no surprise that she capitalized on the terms of the race.
Also, keep in mind that in the highest class, even a small weight difference of a kilo can significantly impact the results. Before I wrap up, I want to emphasize once more that you should never use the same criteria when comparing a class 1 race to a terms race.

 Race no.7 snowfall has 62.5kg  weight for any horse is too much , snowfall has all potential to win  but weight logged him back. Second time  Race no.35 snowfall carring 8 kg less then is previous run.

In horse racing weight  take special  place and it's changes results .

One who knows he knows ,other wise it's  blind bet.

This Horse'S  these  2 runs  are the best example   for the present situation of INDIAN racing industry.. there is NO point in DOING THE POST mortem..we should learn from these incidents and avoid betting  on such horses when they are facvourites with TOP jockies riding them

Hello Dear,

if you watch the last run where Snowfall won, observe the horse Jade who got severe, serious check at the railing by Market King. Also once again at around 100 metres too got squeezed and had to be steadied otherwise Jade would have won the race hands down.

There is no point discussing about merit of Snowfall's victory because the race was gifted due some immatured riding of jockey Vivek G.
