Pre-2006 not vailable on this site. Pat On The Back was born in 2001. He did not race in 2003-04 and did not win in 2004-05. He won his first two races in his first two starts in 2005-06 under S Rajesh and ended the year with another win under Rajesh.

next it won with BL Paswan 27.02.2008

next with S Rajesh 18.06.2008

next with Himanshu 12.11.2008

next with Amarpreet Singh 27.01.2010

the records as per ir.com shows 36 runs and 6 wins, it didn't shows S Rajesh winning thrice on it, I hope ir.com is correct

PAT ON THE BACK - It's one of the highest paid dividend at BLR tote way back in 2006 or 2007. I still remember the odds was 5800 or 6000 per ticket. Let me know if anyone has noticed more than the above mentioned divided on any other horse.

Many times such things happen in Racing. One should not point out such happenings. Instead one should wear a wet cloth on their head chanting Govinda Govinda and move towards Exit Gate.

I think it was jockey Ghajendar singh who rode Pat on the back. It won in Mysore if I remember correctly. Payment at Hyderabad was 3000+ for win on a five rupee bet.

In the nineties there was a jockey G S Bhati at BTC. He was not an extraordinary talent. However, the horses which could not win under star riders would win for him. One newspaper described thus :  the horse goes kindly for jockey G S Bhati
