Even for Time and Tide, today’s best memorable races out of all, and the starting race boosted the confidence obviously.... Moonlight Kiss... last race was just one-horse feeling. Overall, a good day.

What a fantastic day to have at Pune. Nowadays I feel “Pune mera hai” type vibe like what I used to have with Hyderabad. Can’t expect much more than this in life in a day. Overall fantastic races to happen with excellent odds but still heart is greedy, wish Opus Dei could have made it, but overall hammered day to opposition and funny part Pride’s Prince at 30/1 odds haha I thought it will be second fav and Time and Tide thought it will be in 35 paisa but what odds for Time and Tide, superb if I had left playing then I was a big fool, but yes for a moment heart was in mouth, very close finish. Little John I love man.

Also someone said today Sandesh is joker, kaha hai wo, don’t know how people say this all and also I am seeing even they predict number of lengths winner, haha funny.

At times I bet as per my gut instinct, and today is one such day, where I will take a chance on Ashoka based on that. I know T&T is the thorn in the flesh, but it's racing, and as we all know anything is possible. It ain't a case where I'm opting for a dud against a thoroughbred, Ashoka is no mean horse, has been prepared well, and irrespective of what anyone says, be it someone original, or duplicate (I'm sure you know who I'm referring to) I will stick to my choice.

Ashoka 116@ 48.5 and T&T at 126 @ 60Kg  It is 116 plus 23 is 129 versus 126 just 3 Rating points that is 1.5 Kg

Ashoka 116 is just carry forward from Hyderabad which Centre Rating has to be adjusted .As of now in my opinion its Rating is not assessed by RWITC Handicapper 

In the Revised Ratings page tomorrow u can its Rating at RWITC

I feel TT will be a 40paise winner, 

Credence will be the 2nd fav,  credence was 2nd to Gachatu, don't remember the name completely, a hyd based horse which ended noweeher in MYS hence I won't even consider it for place. Magileto is the one  to be considered for a place bet.  Ashoka is see no chance again TT and Magileto.

Opus Dei (2) – Last time it was on my radar and in my selections, but I missed it because in the first race my friend arrived at the racecourse late. It got good odds on SHP and place. In fact, it was good to lose that opportunity last time because we doubled the stakes and won big on Turn & Burn

Opus Dei – Win & hammer on place. Maintains the same form and is the top contender in this bunch. Chardikala is also in this race but can be ignored, just like I ignored it last time.

STAR ROMANCE - after a Back Surgery in 2024 this season participated in 3 races and race number 8 and 29 at 1400 meters it was like a fitness run and last run impressive second in a close finish to Gunsmoke at 1600 meters and this time 400 meters less to travel looks best in the batch should take over everyone in this field as Trainer Narendra Lagad has 3 horses out of 7 runners you have to be careful and not bet any of his horses including 5. 4th race, Amjad Khan Trophy

Race is strictly confined to just three, Opus Dei, Spanish Eyes, and Chardikala. All three have run in the same race, won by Ghirardelli, finishing 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, and in a situation like this I go with the following logic.

One's finishing 2nd and 3rd have gone all out to win, and the ones finishing behind have most probably not been tried, trying to avoid any additional points in ratings, and CHARDIKALA fulfills that condition. Also, read on Original Vel site that the odds drifted on this one in that race, closing odds were 3.5, so maybe it drifted from the favourite position. Two very good and valid points for me to be strong on this one

One horse for the day....

For the Akkasaheb Trophy, am sure that the markets would favor Time and Tide, based on the tremendous form he is in, and Credence, based on recent form and age factor, being the youngest of them all, however, what comes across in my studies quite strongly is the weight advantage one of the other horses in the field has as compared to the others. 

I know it's a Terms race, and weights do not coincide with respective ratings, but it still makes a difference, hence, ASHOKA, rated 116 is the one I prefer, comparing him to Time and Tide, rated 126, because Ashoka clearly has a 5kg advantage here.
