What a race ! Myne Magic and Antony Raj did their magic once again proving that horse and jockey fully matched and in splendid form can indeed do.

African Gold carrying 60 kgs did do well but it looks like it is better over 1400 at this level of class than the mile.

The Narredu camp once again proved that when they field two horses in a valuable race beware of the hidden one. Was a bit hanging in the final part and the rider Vikrant almost managed a glorious upset. Both this horse and the fastest finishing POF which unleased a blitzcriek  await the return of Suraj to strike at some plum of a race. 

Very interesting race , almost true to form with usual suspense and surprises.

Analysis of everyone was good... but when comes to racing....horses will improve day to day ...for example Splendid dream beats Midnight blue on opening day by 2.5lengths ...after that ran in million Splendid dream beats Midnight blue by 10lengths.. improvement shown by horse

Similarly we talking about from invitation cup day ,Mayne magic and African gold

Mayne magic Improved alot from that run...

When comes to Promise of the future ..it has to run in last year Bangalore derby but unfortunately having issues with fitness...after that comeback well from that won on derby day with App(Pavan)...I think Surely it will top contender for this race

Only 5 guys r  there  in my total horse racing experience to whom I follow I named them  to show others GODZILLA , ABHAY PUNE , ANUSHREE, RACEBRO , and  ASHOK MYSORE . oh yes one more us there  RAJ ORIGINAL  after c the selection of RAJ ORIGINAL I totally cut that horse from my selection as I get confirmation now he say  it will not come . African Gold having lost to 7 yr old Raise a buck doesn't inspire much confidence. I have been playing it consistently but it seems the horse has lost its 3yr old form.

Mayne Magic is in the form of his life ...so am fancing it this time. Promiseofthefuture is another who's on the upgrade and wouldn't be surprised if he wins. AG might place.

I understand and very much familiar with all the tricks and trade of horse racing and also the parameters you are talking about still we are into racing, sharing our experience and knowledge. Just to let you know I am into racing for last 40 yrs my bro was owner for last 25 years until he moved out. I don't want to comment on how much we lost listening to trainers. My cousin used to say the horse doesn't know the owner nor trainer once the gates are open and the parameters mentioned by you come into play. We study, analyze thinking that the race will run on merit based on horse's condition and jockey on board and this should be the result. Isn't it.

I respect you, Godzy, khush, Abhay, Anushree, Saidas, Larry,  and many names in this forum and take comments positively. Whether you play 50% or 100% is not my concern, but when I fancy any horse strongly or my days best means 100% from my side. It is upto every individual what % he likes to bet on. I advise punters to bet sensibly and play within limits.

More ever it's Mysore race course where upsets are only thing  gaurnteed.

Horses have  Mood,pain,illness,weather conditions and track to worry,Jockey with a rein and whip to play good or cause havoc by pulling as per instructions.

Mafia gangs have infiltered racing. It's money money and money that is involved. Bookies are dialing 100 times on a race day to Trainers , Jockies to know what's in store on their wards.

I have seen a owner standing next to bookies stall and talking in low voice with a bookies.

Lot of parameters play role here.

I have decided to play 50% of what I normally play on AG.

It beat Posistano which was already recognised as a classic cotender at that juncture, out of sight in race no 86.Should have run in the Indian classics after that.Fitnes problems might have been the reason for the absence.Surfaced after an absence of 6 months and advertised its undisputed superiority against quality youngsters.Feel, Should toy with this bunch at decent odds, if fit.

I just gave a comparision of timings of both horses ran on invitation day in different races, but over a mile distance. 1:36:18 to 1:37:87 equivalent to 7-8L.

I think you have misunderstood me. I am not at all saying that AFRICAN GOLD will win by 7-8L, can be 1L or 2L, I personally feel, there is a huge difference in class.

AFRICAN GOLD will be ahead of MAYNE MAGIC followed by PROMISEOFTHEFUTURE

Nobody is 100% afterall its racing. We try to give our best with our experience, study and analysis. Godzy is on my side this time & Raj, Abel, may be many more...

yes, but it was in the month of January almost 8 to 9 months before, and a horse can get ready in 2 to 4 months to change the results table with a good trainer. Also, I sidelined Promise of the Future yesterday looking at the rating, which I considered to some percentage, then class, and then about the track. In track, overall 5 track works, in which 12/9 work at even pace for 600 is 45 without pushing, which is good, and then 14/9 for 1400 is 1.39 (-6). This -6 I am assuming after he pushed, then it came, and then for full try 600 is 42 seconds, which is lesser than Galahad. And some series of X factors on top of this I have, so that’s the reason I kept Plan A as Mayne Magic for win & place, with Plan B Galahad for place. Both Plan A & B I see will never fail, if A fails B will work, and if Plan B fails A will work. Let’s see, end of the day it’s racing, so even if my selection wins by a nose hair, I am happy. Just want profit haha.

Promise of the future already beat best horse poistano in 2000m carry 57.5kg ,

Poistano beat best horses in bangalore and Pune.

So according to me this is one horse race for Promise of the future.

Reading your claim that African Gold will be 7 to 8 lengths ahead of Mayne Magic, I went through a full analysis in all departments because I am playing some portion on that day with full heart. Again, I felt how can it be a 7 length winner? Because in Race 209, where African Gold came 3rd, he was actually in 1st position before being beaten by Shamrock, who was carrying 59 kg, top weight compared to African Gold. For a 59 kg horse to beat him is a strong factor to consider. If Shamrock had been on lower weight, then it would have been understandable, but not in this case.

Next, that day African Gold was at 4/1 odds, so even from the market point of view, he wasn’t considered the one to beat. Another factor is that his rating was clearly overrated, which means handicap had to be balanced. From that day until now, without any eye-catching performance, he has still been allotted a 105 rating and today he is carrying 60 kg.

Now coming to Mayne Magic in Race No. 206, Class II, that day his rating was underrated with good weight carrying compared to today’s weight. The horse who came 2nd to Mayne Magic, Zuri, was on lower weight and obviously less rated than Mayne Magic. After this win, his rating just dropped 0.5 kg, from 80 to 79, which looks justified.

The main point is today he is carrying 5 kg less compared to that day in Race No. 206.

Now about track work on 29/8, for 600 meters he clocked 38 seconds, which is burning fast track work. Still, he lost to Raise of Buck by 1 length, coming from the 8th position, this supports the statement of his track work. When we look at Mayne Magic’s track work after 2 months, in Antony’s hands, his final 600m is 42 seconds. But the 5 second difference in timing compared to African Gold can be offset by the 5 kg less he is carrying today.

On top of that, today Mayne Magic’s rating is 115 while African Gold’s rating is 105.

That’s all, I rest my case haha. Let’s see. But honestly, your statement about 7 to 8 lengths ahead made me recheck everything, thinking maybe I missed something. But no, all departments are still supporting what I claimed.

instead of writing this all thoughts & also on the promise of the future analysis...I thought let's say in short that i understood " puri story " But after seeing your post,(7 -8 lengths winner) I thought to share my insights haha....may the best best horse win and keep the sporting spirit...

One more stats and comparison between the two as both ran in different races in Chennai on invitation day on 2nd March. 

AFRICAN GOLD ran 2.75L behind Shamrock in a G1 race over 1600m clocking 1:36:18 

MAYNE MAGIC won by 3/4L in a Class1 race over 1600m clocking 1:37:87 

Conclusion: I feel even with slight weight difference, AFRICAN GOLD is got class and still 7 to 8L ahead, better than MAYNE MAGIC.

Undoubtedly Mayne Magic is very good horse however eact time he had to contend with horses who have stolen  a march over him and got pipped at the post. This time he has he has crossed paths with an equally gifted horse Promise of the future who has the the same blinding accelartion as is evident from all his wins to contest with. 

It is should be POTF v/s Mayne Magic . Others are Also rans.

Finally, I understood the Puri story. I checked in detail, and now I want to say Mayne Magic is an easy winner, with a big bit of fear from Galahad. I just want profit, love to be in the profit club.

Mayne Magic (6) – Win 35% & 65% hammer place.( 60 paisa place to any Paisa welcome )

Galahad (7) – Sure place, hammer 100% place.( Definitely wil get more than (12/10 to any good odds of place )

From both these bets, I hope by the end of the race it will be profit in this race because 100% confirm either this 2 will be in top 3 or atleast one but no race without this 2 leaving board....

Promise of Future – I don’t see in the top 2, maybe top 3 or 4th, or board out, but definitely not top 2. I said this statement not making  sad of  Promise of Future supporters but,  just a warning: play with a lot of care for win and place.

Former is superior, but still I want to check the handicap and latest track, the mood of the trainer and his confidence, then lastly the declaration of jockeys. I don't follow jockeys because top jockey mounts are mostly meant to confuse people. Yes, jockey allotment is important, just 20% out of 100%, but not completely. That's the reason I guess 70% of the people ignored recently Star of Night in the Cup race just seeing B.R. Kumar. People lose money, properties, I don't know what else, by just following top jockeys only. The rest I have to check in detail about the former one, let's see.

Repeated failure of Darius Gold might be due to non acting of the repeatedly administered steroids.Feel, there is a little bit of promise in 

Promise Of The Future if physically sound as it was kept away from the main classics.

African Gold needs a strong raider like Trevor or Srinath. Anthony Raj will be raiding Mayne Magic . It should be between two only.
