This is a very valuable suggestion made by Cyrus. Honouring the yesteryear champions of the sport will enhance the status of the Turf Authorities. So many of us, racing enthusiasts, still follow and love the sport because these champions gave us immense joy during their performing years. I'd say, create a fund and enable collection of voluntary contributions for the champions and make them feel loved and wanted

Aslam bhai certainly earned this gesture...his popularity among racegoers is beyond doubt...after his sad demise I observed people discussed his riding skills in Pune ( specially elderly )

Cyrus Madan sir is too great human being as he came forward and demanded this gesture to Aslam bhai...all club should except it and pay tribute as we all human

Anyone interested and especially those who love Aslam should watch his old interview with Mandira Bedi which is available on Youtube. It's such a pleasure to see the uncomplicated, straightforward and God respecting man that he was. 

Once again RIP dear Aslam.

All the turf authorities should come together and implement Cyrus Madans suggestions.
