My choices for the day.

Race 1: The race is for the lowest rated horses and the form does not point out any horse having a definite edge over others. But still, when they run, someone has to WIN. It is just guess work.

4- MUASER (P Ajeet Kumar) - placed 3rd to HOPING HIGH on Monday, October 13. Can do better over 1400 M.

Race 2: 1- ONE AND ONLY (Kuldeep Singh) - Running after almost 3 months. Has the class to do well even with the top weight.

Race 3: 1- GLORIA (P Saikumar) - Distance suits.

Race 4: 1- BESTIE (Akshay Kumar) - Impressive winner over 1400 M in last start. With same rider, may score again.

Race 5: 8- GOLD GIVER (Md Ekram Alam) - Trainer has 3 acceptors in this race, this horse being a 3 year old . Placed 2nd with 60 Kg weight in lower class. Running in higher class now with feather weight. Should be given a chance.

Race 6: A difficult race. ASHOKA is giving 10.5 Kg to LASHKA. Such a weight difference is rarely seen between horses at # 1 and # 2. Can LASHKA take advantage of this difference? Can weight stop ASHOKA?

It is best to just watch the race.

Race 2= DIABLO(3) Shall have easy outing. DALI'S DESTINY(8) Shall manage a place.

Race 3= KRYSTALLOS(6) Good bet on each way. BHOLI PUNJABAN (3) Can Upset.

Race 4= TERM DEPOSIT (9) Shall have easy outing.

Race 5= MISS SMILEY ANGEL (2) At any odds he is worthy for place . GOLD GIVER (8) Can upset.

Race 6=MIKIMOTO(3) Good bet on each way.

Race 7= CLARITY(4) If this horse takes lead than only threat for him will be BLAZING SADDLE(7) These two will fight for the post.

1 – BATTLE ON is the only runner here who has won over 1400, once, none of the other dunces come into reckoning, and the fact that it has ta sole allowance claimer, also, last run had a change of equipment (COE) and today, it’s the 2^nd run after COE, and horses tend to perform better in such situations, so comes across as a good bet to start the day on two counts, other than the fact it’s a course and distance (C&D) winner.

III – Winner has to be from one of the top three, however, being a no whip race, and Vivaldo, not being a front runner, eliminating him, and of the other two, preferring one of my favourite, ONE AND ONLY over Diablo.

III – FLYTOTHESTARS comes up as first choice as per my ratings studies, however, being shod in steel, am a bit confused. This one had the best chance in this field, so why persist with S, why not A shod? LIFE JOURNEY comes up as next best for me.

IV – Bestie, L Miichigan, and Take a Breath are the only ones I had to take a second look at, and based on bend position I ignore L Michigan. Take a Breath has a sole allowance claimer, so comes into reckoning for me but BESTIE, based on pedigree, and bend position in last race won over 1400 comes across as my prime bet.

V – Miss Smiley Angel and Linda are the only two who come into contention for me, and LINDA enjoys a tremendous handicap advantage (based on my ratings studies).

VI – Lashka and Ashoka are the two prime contenders. As per a theory I follow Ashoka, with a difference of 10.5 kgs, highest in the entire race card, would have been my prime choice, however, based on race 23, LASHKA is 1.5L better, that would have been a good reason for settling on Lashka, but what makes me firm in my choice is the age factor, 4yo versus 6yo.
