there are many jockeys and trainers without a win this season, no idea who will be in trying, top jockey with winless trainer may try

my choices for the day are

1st Race

6 Chisox may seal the championship to trainer, 4 Sunway Lagoon, 9 Sling Shot & 10 NRI Millenium to give fight, I prefer 6 win place (20:80)

2nd Race

8 Emeraldo & 10 Cool Winter will try for respective trainers to be in top, 6 Czarevitch can be a gamble too, and based on Alluring Beauty's win yesterday, 4 Nimble Spirit also will be in contention, tough race, I prefer 6 place

3rd Race

8 Immoral Beauty can repeat, for that it has to beat the other beauty 1 Smile of beauty, 5 Able one can be a gamble too, 1 place looks safe

4th Race

11 Supreme success has age on side to clear maidens, 1 NRI Victory & 2 Knotty Affair won't give up easily, keep an eye on 9 Victoriaraya too for huge upset, I prefer 2 place

First two races, no point wasting time over them, best to reach the course and hour later and start the day with a winning bet on IMMORTAL BEAUTY in the 3rd race

4th race – Loads of bets would be placed on K Affair and Bellavita, but for me, it’s jodi ghul, don’t find any of them impressive. The one who catches my eyes is NATURAL LOOK, who last one as hot favourite, and with same jockey riding today.

5th race – Bezwada Sultan, G Time, and M Queen are the ones who I feel this race is restricted to, and the one I fancy here is MOONLIGHT QUEEN, failed favourite in the last two runs. Won once with A Raj, and last two outings, was favourite , with same jockey, however, today, with A Raj being available connections have opted for a lesser known jockey, why? I feel they’re just looking for better odds, to recover losses accrued over the last two runs as favorites.

6th race – The company ALDGATE has run with, if on job, will be all alone at the all important end.

DERBY – Obviously, it’s between Red Bishop and Miracle Star, with Maana, progeny of Yana, having the wherewithal to spoil their party, but having run in a handicap class IV race I don’t really fancy her, and even though a lot of sentiment is attached to the running of M Star, well, it’s a big race, and I feel sentiments do not rule in such a situation, so even though M Star is right up there, with good number support for the day, my final choice is RED BISHOP.

8th race – I find it pretty tough to find a winner here, however, being a 1400m race , and checking performances over that distance, toss-up between Monteiro, K Scotty, Fortis, E Glory, and Sherouk. No bet for me over here, but if Red Bishop, with card 3 draw 4 wins, I’d tend to go strong with Monteiro, having same numbers.

Last race – Can’t look beyond TEFILAH, purely based on pedigree, Damsire being Multidimensional.

RACE 6 : Hrs no 5 (*KNOTTY BLUSH*) C&D winner in last run in lower class, chasing hatrick now, gets promoted to higher class, retains winning form, should defy the penalty and can put her best foot forward to hit the wire again today.

1-4 SUNWAY LAGOON ran a very good 3rd recently over 1200m 1:12:01 with A Ramu in the saddle. Now going with H Rahul and 100m less to travel might go wire to wire. 5 CHISOX and 10 NRI might fight for place.

2-10 COOL WINTER - Recent 1L 3rd over 1200m with A Bandal in the saddle who is retained to ride. Still a maiden after 11 starts and should come out of maiden ranks this time.

3-7 AMAZING ATTRACTION - Ran an excellent 4th recently over 1200m 1:12:04 with apprentice on board who is taking the ride again. This time 100m less to travel might go wire to wire. 8 IMMORTAL BEAUTY who won in a lower class is a LAY BET for me
