Yes, Racing in India is in declining mode .

Number of Race days decling..

Number of Horses drastically fallen  down .

Quality of Racing is decling. 

Racing centers are closing down.  of course centers  Closed.

We see an article about this topic every month in one or other form. All those who are concerned are mostly non professionals of the game. 

I don't think the clubs and big owner, trainers are even thinking about it. Otherwise they would have come together and discussed with the government. 

Yes, if All centers payingnproperly paid GST we will not in be in this situations..making 500 cr loss to govt howthey will support..swiping public money also not paying GST also..All for Good 

We as punters must unite and vote for those political parties that support cause of racing.In democracy only pressure of votes is effective.

Rightly said sir,  difficult task to convince, govt,  they are under the impression that the higher GST  higher the revenue, forget other damages.  Hope and wish Club authorities able to arrive at some negotiated settlements with the govt 

Indian racing revival is not possible at this point of time until and unless our racing bosses go all out against government and get tax relief. Racing standards are at rock bottom, most of the centers having no good stock to run at this point of time, half of the races are run at miserly odds below 50 paisa which is a big NO for any punter. There is no chance that racing will survive for long in this scenario. Fingers crossed.

Apart from Chennai &Ooty there is no immediate threat..but main concern is the quality of racing.Horses belonging to select owners/trainers are dominating the proceedings.This is not a good sign for racing in future.

Instead of conducting 2 races simultaneous and confusing punters by Running Race clubs and making loses by punters , without allowing taking proper judgement by punters, It is as good as fighting for opening of race clubs and providing employement to dependent workers of Race clubs. The Government is always wise to take right decision in the interest of all.

If gst come down only racing is alive 

Racing has been unfair in all the Centres  Punters can save their money. Good thing happening.
