Hyderabd is closed down, Bangalore is closed and Now Mysore may also have to be closed tomorrow if test results are positive. Absolutely irresponsible behaviour by Indian Turf clubs. It is regretable that Indian Racing Industry is not learning any lessons from problems faced by them..40% GST, Closure of online betting and now Glanders. At this rate Racing Industry is surely going to close down for sure. 

Textile industry has considerable similarities with Indian Racing Industry. Considerable Cash component, No Legal compliances but still managed to get themselves into 5 % GST Bracket. Unfortunately Indian Racing Professionals are not able to come together. 

100 % GST compliances by all stake holders Stud Farms no private deals or auctions. All horses sold in Public Auctions only with 100% GST compliances only then government support may be expected and then request for GST reduction in betting activities. ISO 45001,ISO 9001 Safety and Quality Management systems to be in PLace for all turf Clubs , stud farms and  absolute transperant documentation is one solution but it will take long time.

Indian classic race today where maximum entries seen 22 horses some time but definately 12-15 horses. Today Pathetic Race Card not worth spending money for entering  in common enclosure also.   

Looks to be an end game of Racing In India.
