Absultly it was a great riding by sandesh for bechimo,

But all big jockey for example 

Suraj sandesh trevor anthony 

All the jockeys see riding different when they wants to be losing and wining, when any one saw in folt then strict action against him

It is a marvellously beautiful ride by a Determined mind. Timings are superb . Great efforts from connection..

I had my stakes for W/P on Anthony's Sovereign King , he should have won that race that day he did a mistake of keeping it in rails and he was in mid field stuck by other horses, had he been on outer rails he had better chances, but as always strong riding by him i was happy overall. Anthony raj is always impressive with horses that are 3 or 4 th fav in Classic's.

Breath taking ride was by Antony Raj. He was blocked for a while at 200 mtrs by western star. He took the needle gap on inner rails and cane with a dream run. Someother jockey would hesitated to take the risk.

Whereas Bachimo came last to first from the bend..Horse acceleration was too good. He came without any traffic problem by coning wide. Anyhow kudos to Sandesh. 

Let's give full credit to the horse first before showering praises on the rider Sandesh. 'Baychimo' simply flies in the last 100 metres or so. We saw the animal doing so even when ridden earlier by Antony Raj. This wonder horse will brhave well over extended distance and, therefore, will make the next major fight very interesting against the likes of 'Fynbos' and 'Miracle Star'.

In spite of getting a bad ckeck in the early part of this prestigious race, with lots of foreign & other fancied riders, A.Sandesh, stood apart from all. Needless to say, Soverign King was just unlucky, coming after a long lay off & few niggles in that period, performed very well. If he gets a fresh life after this outing, SK will be certainly, will be a horse to watch..

The same applies to BAYCHIMO, who performed great, in spite of the bad check. Not to forget-NAMIRI, who in justher being thrown at the deep end,too soon, performed wonderfully well & needs close watch in the Indian Oaks in January'26.

The foreign riders performed well below par & poor punters suffered huge, who believed in them more than our Indian talent.

Finally, all KUDOS to the upcoming champion trainer- Adhiraj Sing Jodha, who was made to sit out at Pune. Watch out for his all horses & now the 2 yr.olds.

BAYCHIMO is the only horse who continously improved throughout the last 3 furlongs in the race. Especially after the bend, his timings of the last 2 furlongs show continous improvement and are better than rest of the field.

He is the only horse who shall stay 2000-2400m from the guineas feild. However, pedigree suggests a limitation of best distance to 2000m. 
 

This leaves the derby wide open

Have always rated Sandesh as the best in India.

Most people have under rated him.

Yes.. absolutely  superb riding by Sandesh...Sovereign king was unfortunate. Note Namiri for Oaks.

But according to me the riding of Osin Murphy was extremely poor. Next time Zacharias will be a different customer. 

Sandesh riding style similar to Legendary Vasant Shinde ...detached to field till last furlong .. fantastic pace of judgement .

Antony felt Sovereign king was short of one work.running after a long break. He feels IT IS A much better horse than what he ran...looking forward to seeing him run on January 10th in the RUIA GOLD CUP.. His performance in Ruia would guage how he would perform over 12 furlongs in the Indian Derby.
