Veteran trainer Narendra Lagad is famous for maintaining his horses well, keeping them in tip-top condition, for several years now. He is also very popular for adjusting his wards to their proper distance after trying them over different distances. 'Lightning Blaze' is the latest shining example. Running the horse over 1,000 and 1,200 metres for almost two seasons without the desired result, this big-built trainer very nicely turned the sprinter into a miler and won a Class V race yesterday at a rating of 1. This is not so easy to do but Lagad knows how to attempt it successfully. This is how he has been managing his horses so well for many decades now. Hearty congratulations to the trainer for also promoting many new jockeys year after year.
